Art Theft - On today's episode, Katie takes us on a journey featuring the greatest art heist of all time.  On March 18th, 1990, two men dressed up as cops stole 13 pieces of art from the Isabella Gardner Art Museum in Boston, MASS.  Collectively these pieces are worth over $500 million!  

In response to this crime and other acts of art theft, the FBI created the anti-art theft division which solely focuses on the crimes in the art community.

FINALLY - we're to the last leg in this horrifying and totally true saga of a story. 

As hard as the last ones were, it's going to get worse.  In this episode Katie gets into the peak of terror the cult leader inflicted on his followers.  This terror ultimately leads to his demise, imprisonment, and the poetic justice he gets from his cellmate. 

All in all, these last two episodes were the most dark, scary and totally true episodes we've done.  We appreciate you sticking around until the very end of it all.

In this first part of a three part series, we talk about the psychology of a cult.

Today we talk about all things dark and scary from the Tamám Shud case, commonly known as the Somerton Man case.  

This case remained a mystery for nearly 74 years until 2022 when he was identified as Carl "Charles" Webb.  

His identification was made possible through advancements in technology and genetic genealogy testing.

And boy was he right! 

The Space Race began at the heart of the Cold War -  a war fought through nuclear arms races, espionage, and a lot of he said she said.  Although the USSR was technically the first country in "space," their journey was nothing compared to what the United States did with the Apollo Program and the first lunar landing of 1969. 

So today, we talk about the first lunar landing and everything that went into it.  There are moments that are beautiful, there are moments that are dark, and there are moments that are scary.  But all in all, it's all TOTALLY TRUE!
