Tonight, on a Wednesday night edition of Trackside with Curt Cavin and Kevin Lee, they are live from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to recap day one of open testing for the 109th Indianapolis 500. They talk about what they observed early on and who has new liveries for the race. They also talk about fewer than 10,000 tickets are available for this year's race, and they also talk about the possibility of Mexico City going on the 2026 calendar.  

Later in the first hour of the show, they answer fan questions from X, talking about what to expect for the second day of testing, how the show’s upcoming schedule could conflict with the Indiana Pacers Playoffs, how the drivers reacted to the hybrid, and who looked good on the no-tow charts.  

To wrap up wrap up the first hour of the show, they talk about Kevin getting a new car. 

To start the second hour of the show, they talk about upcoming details for the Burger Bash. They also talk about Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden topping the timing charts on the first day of testing, with Kyle Larson dealing with technical gremlins and finishing 11th, and that nine of the top ten cars were Honda’s. They also talk about Graham Rahal brushing the wall, while Santino Ferrucci and Jack Harvey had engine failures and hybrid issues, and Rinus VeeKay had a slow day along with his Dale Coyne Racing teammate, Jacob Abel.   

Later in the second hour of the program, they talk about the latest relief driver rules for Kyle Larson and Tony Kanaan.  

Then to wrap up another addition of the show, Kevin talks about what to learn for tomorrow’s testing and some news regarding RLL’s IMSA program with BMW.
