Christ called the church to be a true family.

What might a pastor's prayer life and activity towards his church be, if we treat them as true family and with great honour?

The church is called to be a true family but not a family of freeloaders. In 1 Timothy 5, Paul instructs Timothy how the church is to reserve her pooled resources for the real needs of God's people.

Gospel leaders we must preach with boldness, while never erring from God's truth. This was the task given to young Timothy.

The best way to combat false teaching in the church is to know our Bibles, hence the instruction,

Paul also reminds Timothy not to neglect the spiritual gift he has been given by the laying on of hands. May God bless you in Jesus name as you draw from the truth of God's word.

Christians should reject legalism, but that does not mean we do not train, even agonize to live Holy lives before the Living God we worship.

As a church, if we Biblically lead by example, we will impact our world.
