An intrepid adventurer who can’t seem to sit still, Jacob has been cycle touring, trail running, and backcountry skiing for years! In the summer of 2020, an impulsive decision to cycle tour across Canada led Jacob and his friends from the Pacific to the Atlantic. 

Starting in Victoria at mile 0, the group headed east. Astonished by the warm hospitality, even during the pandemic, Jacob was inspired by the welcomeness of strangers along the way. Motivated by the ever-changing topographies and breathtaking scenery, notably along the North Shore of Lake Superior,  Jacob and his friends made it all the way to the Maritimes before encountering a roadblock, literally.
