Long-time D3 Datacast fans will remember back to one of our earliest episodes where we ranked the top ten conferences in Division III basketball. That was just a top ten and was based on several years of data and a little bit of old fashioned internet “yeah but I think”. We’re back with another set of conference rankings but this time we are focusing in on just efficiency margin data from the 2022-2023 season and ranking each conference by placing them in one of five tiers.
From the E-tier to the A-tier, where will your favorite conference rank? Tune in to this week’s episode to find out and hear our thoughts about each tier and the conferences they feature. Stick around to the end of the episode to see a graphical representation of how the conference stack up against one another in terms of their offensive and defensive efficiency.
