First year head coach of High Point University, Flynn Clayman joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Coach Clayman has been apart of the High Point staff the previous two years leading them to heights the program hasn't seen before including a NCAA tournament appearance and back-to-back Big South regular season titles.

Clayman developed one of the best offenses in the country as an assistant under Coach Alan Huss. The team was 3rd in offensive efficiency according to KenPom Rankings, and was in the 98th percentile in points per possession during the 2024-25 season. The Panthers have high expectations as they were picked to win the Big South conference once again. HPU is currently 3-0 during the 2025-26 season under Clayman.

Jaquez Moore, 5th year Duke football running back, joins this week's episode of Not Even D2​⁠. The veteran RB has seen the Duke football program revamp the program into an ACC contender, and has had a great career with over 1,200 rushing yards.

Moore is from Live Oak, Florida where he played four seasons of high school football at Suwannee. The three star player originally committed to Georgia Southern before decommitting and later committing to Duke University.

We get into everything surrounding the Duke football program. During his career, Duke has had 3 head coaches, but that hasn't reflected in their consistency. The Blue Devils are on track to have 4 straight winning seasons after the team finished 3-9 during Moore's freshman year.

Moore was coming off of back to back seasons averaging over 5 yards per carry before he was sidelined with an ankle injury during the 2024 season.

Currently ranked 34th all-time on the Duke rushing yards list, the 5th year has the opportunity to continue climbing that list with 5 games left in his final year. The hope for Jaquez is to make an NFL roster concluding this year, so the rest of the season is crucial for him and the Duke program that is currently 4-3.

Jason Ludwig, Santa Clara MBB associate head coach, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Ludwig has been instrumental in the success Santa Clara has had during the program's current, longest winning season streak in program history.

Ludwig is from California where he's spent a majority of his coaching career. He began his career in basketball as a student manager at UCLA. Ludwig spent almost a decade at UCLA during different time spans having a variety of roles, including video coordinator, director of scouting, and director of player development. During his time at UCLA he coached plenty of current NBA players; this list includes: Russel Westbrook, Kyle Anderson, and Norman Powell.

Ludwig is entering his 10th season on the Broncos coaching staff along with head coach Herb Sendek. Together the two have coached 9 1st team all-conference players, two of them later being 1st round lottery draft picks. Brandin Podziemski and Jalen Williams both flourished under the two coaches and are some of the best talents in the NBA, today.

Coach Ludwig is also the founder of the Latino Association of Basketball Coaches. The association is a platform used to empower Latino basketball coaches through advocacy and opportunities.

Carrie Moore, Harvard women's basketball coach joins this week's episode of ​⁠Not Even D2. Carrie enters her fourth year leading the Crimson after leading the program to their 1st Ivy League championship in program history.

The hosts cover all of Carrie's exceptional career including being one of the best players to play at Western Michigan to now leading Harvard to heights never reached. Coach Moore talks about what made the 2024-25 group special and how they plan to build off of the success. The Crimson were a top 5 scoring defense in the entire country, only allowing 52.9 ppg helping the group to a 24-5 overall record.

Before coming to Harvard, Coach Moore was an assistant coach at the University of Michigan where she helped the 2021-22 Wolverines reach the Elite 8. Moore was also an assistant at North Carolina where she was the lead recruiter that brought in nationally ranked classes year to year. Her first stint as an assistant coach was at Princeton before she took her career to Creighton. With all of her different experiences, Moore gave her perspective on the different schools and what she learned from each coach that she coached under.

Before coaching, Moore was an elite WBB player who currently holds the record for the most points scored (2,216) at the University of Western Michigan. On top of what allowed her to be successful during her playing career, Moore talks about how her career has shaped her coaching style.

Coach Moore and the Harvard WBB have changed the narrative surrounding the program and the 2025-26 team has high expectations.

Duncan Robinson, the newest addition to the Detroit Pistons joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . After spending 7 years with the Miami Heat, which included two runs to the finals, Robinson was involved in a sign and trade with the Pistons (3 yrs/$48M). The Pistons off-season moves, along with their 2024-25 playoff appearance (1st playoff appearance since the 2018-19 season), have put themselves in NBA title contention.

The hosts get into all of Duncan's career starting at the Division 3 level where he played one season for Williams College. He'd spend one year before playing the rest of his college career at Michigan University under coach Beilein. Robinson and the Wolverines won back-to-back Big 10 championships, and made the NCAA championship game in 2018. Duncan talks about growing a bond with Mo Wagner and Carris Levert, Jordan Poole's game winner against Houston, and the national championship game in the episode; you don't want to miss those stories!

The 2024-25 Northeast Conference Player of the Year, Jordan Jones joins this week's episode of ​⁠Not Even D2. The Florence, South Carolina native recently signed an overseas contract to play in the Slovenska Basketball League (SBL) in Slovakia. After a great college career playing at multiple levels, Jones now has set his aspirations to one day play at the highest level of basketball.

Jones committed to Coker University (D2) out of high school. The 6'0 guard would spend three seasons playing at the Divison 2 level before Coach Sellers and Central Connecticut State began recruiting the All-SAC player. Jones with two years of eligibility left, committed to CCSU on his first official visit.

Year 1 with the Blue Devils started with Jones coming off of the bench. Later that year, Jones became one of CCSU's best players and an all-conference player as a top 10 NEC scorer. Transitioning to year 2, Jones took a big leap in most statistical categories while leading his team in points and assists. He was a finalist for the Lou Henson Mid-Major Player of the Year award and was awarded the NEC Player of the Year. Jones finished his career with over 1,500 points and just under 500 assists.

This episode gets into a great conversation with Jones about his future within basketball, what Coach Sellers has done to make CCSU a top team in the NEC, and the honor he holds of being awarded NEC Player of the Year.

31-year Head Coach for the Iowa State Cyclones (WBB), Bill Fennelly joins this week's episode of Not Even D2​⁠. Coach Fennelly's 800 career wins is currently 3rd amongst all active coaches in women's basketball. Under Coach Fennelly the Cyclones have averaged 21 wins per season and have made 23 NCAA tournament appearences.

Coach Fennelly came to Iowa State in 1995 from previously coaching Toledo (1988-1995). Fennelly has completely transformed the program in every aspect. The Cyclones have been revamped as a national contender year in and year out. The average fan attendance when Fennelly arrived was only 733/game, now the program gets on average 10,000/game.

The Cyclones finished the 2024-25 season 23-12 (12-6 Big 12) with a First Four victory over Princeton before falling to Michigan in the Round of 64. With majority of the roster returning, including 3rd-team All-American Audi Crooks, the Iowa State program has high expectations going into the 2025-26 season.
