St. John Fisher College announced this past summer that they were bringing back wrestling. They had wrestling from 1965-1983 and were successful in DIII and NAIA. They have found their head coach, on October 12th they announced they hired Ryne Morrison to lead their program. Morrison comes from Adrian College and wrestled at Ursinus College, he also spent one year on staff at Heidelberg as a Graduate Assistant. Educational conversation about St. John Fisher and Coach Morrison's vision for the program.

Hiram College Director of Wrestling Operations/Head Men's Wrestling Coach & Interim Head Women's Wrestling Coach Andy Vogel joined the show to talk about his transition to his new role. Coach Vogel was at Gettysburg for 13 years and coached three NCAA All-Americans, ten NCAA qualifiers, eight Centennial Conference champions, 44 conference place winners, 18 regional place winners and 19 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans. Vogel also coached the Centennial Conference Wrestler of the Year in 2009 and 2012, and the Rookie of the Year in 2016. Vogel was a standout wrestler on the mat for Messiah and was a 3x All-American and finished with 157 career wins. He also runs the popular DIII wrestling website d3wrestle.com.

University of Wisconsin La Crosse All American Grant Zamin joined the show to talk about his wrestling journey and his recent move to North Central College to start his coaching career. With the Cardinals we will also be continuing to train and compete on the senior level circuit at 70 KG in freestyle. Grant Zamin was one of the top DIII wrestlers in the country and unfortunately did not have the storybook ending to his college career because of COVID. He has a great perspective and was part of some great teams at La Crosse. He was a 4x WIAC finalist, 3x WIAC Champion, and the Upper Midwest Regional Champion in 2020 on top of being an All-American in 2019. He entered the 2020 NCAA Championships as the #1 seed at 157.

Loras College Head Coach TJ Miller joined the show to talk about the Duhawk Program and his wrestling journey. TJ was a 3x All American at Wartburg College and a national champion in 2007 at 197. He was named NWCA Head Coach of the Year in 2020 after guiding the Duhawks to the American Rivers Conference Championship and Lower Midwest Regional title. The Duhawks had 8 National Qualifiers that season and finished 2nd in the country in 2019. Amazing conversation about mindset and what it takes to be great. Enjoy!
