Dave B and Dave D are waiting for your messages!
It's another jam-packed episode as we speak to Grant and Larissa, aka Mad Yank Brewery from Middlesex. This husband and wife team are putting out some very exciting and different beers and have lots of big plans for 2021.
Then for something completely different, we talked to the cast of Birchall's Pints, aka Someguyswithacamera. The guys are creating a craft beer mini-series that will be available on Amazon Prime next year!
If that's not enough there's all our regular features including our latest drink-along in association with Real Ale plus Brew To Me featuring Nightjar and Brew Toon. Hype or Tripe is also a bit different this episode - spoiler, it's one for fans of custard as Cameron from Turning Point pops in to help us out.
All this and more in the latest episode of Daftaboutcraft, the craft beer podcast - an exploration of the wonderful and creative world of craft beer.
We are two guys, called Dave. We release a new episode every three weeks and are happily sponsored by our good friends at Real Ale - the independent bottle shop with stores in Twickenham, Maida Vale and Notting Hill and online at realale.com. We are joined by husband and wife team Dan and Sam from the excellent Copper Beech Brewing Company. Based in Worcestershire near Dave D, the duo have released their first set of beers to great fanfare in the local area. We think these guys have a big future and you can listen to all of their story on a future special episode, but enjoy this teaser for now!
This month, we head to the dark side and sample two stouts from Verdant and Beatnikz Republic as part of our Drink Along With Us feature in association with Real Ale, while a big-hitting Triple IPA from Pomona Island gets the Hype or Tripe treatment, aha!
We've also got Oli, owner and founder of the superb Dig Brew in Birmingham to bring us up to speed with everything going on in their brewing headquarters.

This month we unveil a new feature in association with Real Ale - Drink Along With Us. We try beers from Partizan, Polly's and Track - but more importantly we want to know what you think of them and which beers you would like to drink with us on future shows.
We are joined by Andy, marketing guru at the Scottish sour titans Vault City who lets us know what the brewery has been been up to recently and what the future will hopefully hold.
Two beers are roadtested in Hype or Tripe - will Deya's first Tipa Routine Bites Hard or the latest version of Cloudwater's Chubbles reign supreme?

We are now three-weekly, and in this second episode of 2021 we kick off with our regular Brew To Me feature in which we sample a beer from an outfit we've not tried before. Dave B gives Little Mesters Brewing from Sheffield a whirl, while Dave D heads to Spain and hones in on Peninsula from Madrid.
We enjoy a very sociable chat with John Slumbers, the operations director from Lord's Brewing Co and try a couple of drinks from this up-and-coming outfit in Huddersfield before Ben and Mike from Rivington Brewing Co pop in with an update from their headquarters in Lancashire.
Many of you will have seen the latest release of Putty from Cornish maestros Verdant, so we put the ultimate Hype Or Tripe candidate to the test in our regular feature to find out whether we think it hits the mark.

We thought we packed a lot into episode five, but we're raising the bar again as we present our final episode of 2020 (or is it? Watch for an out-takes special before Christmas!).
This time Dave D taste tests a beer from the Tenby Brewing Company in Pembrokeshire, while Dave B also goes to the seaside, sampling the work of the award-winning Padstow Brewing Company. There's no Supermarket Sweep this month, but we switch it up and put two DDH 6.5% pales from Pomona Island head to head in our new Blind Leading The Blind feature, while we try out Siren's Trillionaire in Hype Or Tripe to see if it lives up to its lofty billing.
As if that weren't enough, we're joined by one of the biggest names in the craft industry, with brewer Henok Fentie from Swedish giants Omnipollo dropping in for a chat. We've also got Rob Cheshire from This Week In Craft Beer on the show to tell us all about his work, plus we have a rundown of craft beer-related Christmas gift ideas.
