Today's topic, comes from a person that I really, really respect and look up to, in the sense that they have done some amazing things in their life when they were here. And you probably know who it might be, or who it is, if you know me and know some of the people I look up to. And that is Mr. Rogers. I'm a huge, huge Mr. Rogers fan, and he's done so many things.

I'm here to remind you to give yourself some kindness. Be compassionate, be kind, be loving to yourself. You matter. Are you showing yourself that you matter to you? Are you giving yourself that kindness, that love, that respect that you're worthy of? I know I'm not always.

Today's episode, I'm going to talk about hard questions. And the last two weeks, last week's and this week's episodes, not all of them, but some of them kind of tie into this. And I'm trying to think of the right way to say this. A lot of my growth, mindset, personal growth, whatever you want to call it, the growth that I've experienced over the last couple of years, as in last four or five years, has come from me asking myself hard questions, from being really open, at least to myself.

Let's dive into today and today's topic for The Daily Energize. Now, this topic comes from a question that was asked on our Jones and Four Live episode, I believe it was asked in episode two of season one. So the question was this, what do you do when you notice you're withdrawing? Like withdrawing from family, friends, events, different things. What do you do when you notice yourself withdrawing?

The Energizer, can you please stop self-sabotaging yourself? Seriously, it's hard to see you want these big, beautiful things and go for them, but yet you keep sabotaging yourself over and over again and not achieving them.

I know some of you might identify yourself as a leader, some of you might not, and that's okay, you don't have to identify yourself as a leader to be part of our Energizer family, that's all right. But I would say all of you are leaders to some degree. Now, some of you are leaders at work, maybe you're managers or the CEOs or different, I don't know, whatever your title is at work. You have people who you help direct and guide and support, making you a leader, maybe it's at work, maybe you're a leader in a community organization.

I've started to learn more about energy and how everything's a vibration, how we create our reality, that the mind is everything, as in what we say and put out in the world, what we think, actually starts to become a reality. So when it says what we think, we become. If we think we're a loser, if we're bad at math, if we're bad at these different things, we'll probably become bad at those things. Might become that loser that we're saying we are.

Today's topic, recently I was asked, it was actually a question we had in the Jonesin For Live Show. And that was, how do we discern, well this isn't quite what they asked, but I'll summarize it in my own way. How do we discern what's right for us? Their question was more like, how do we know if we let a person into our inner circle or not?

In this episode of The Daily Energize. And today, I'm going to ask you to potentially step outside of your comfort zone. And that is, I'm inviting you to be vulnerable. To be vulnerable with yourself. To be vulnerable with others as well. It can be scary because, well, we're opening up. We're being vulnerable. We're letting our guard down, our shields down.

Let's just take a couple of minutes and just be mindful together. So it's like a kind of like a guided mindfulness moment, couple of minutes as it were. So I invite you, you don't change anything about what you're doing. Keep doing whatever you're doing. Be safe, be smart about it.
