The YPG dominates the SDF, a coalition of anti-regime forces which the US backs in the fight against Daesh in Syria.
N Korea says denuclearisation requires removal of the US threat
Pyongyang says it won't denuclearise unless the US threat to North Korea is also removed.
A statement carried by N Korea's state news agency on Thursday said the US threat extended to South Korea and neighbouring regions.
