Psalm 121:7–8 — The Lord Will Watch Over You: A Morning Prayer for Protection  Protection • Presence • Courage Scripture — Psalm 121:7–8 (NIV) “The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going.” A new day can begin with uncertainty. Before the messages arrive and before the responsibilities of the day begin, there is a simple truth to remember: you are not walking into this day alone. God is already there, and His presence is greater than whatever you may face. Some are waking with confidence, while others may already feel concerned about what today will bring. Some may be facing difficult circumstances, family pressures, uncertainty about work or situations beyond their control. Lord, watch over them. Where there is danger or difficulty, surround them with Your presence and wisdom. Jesus, we place this day into Your hands. We do not know everything that lies ahead, but we know You are faithful. Help us walk with confidence, not because we can predict every moment, but because we know the One who goes with us. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh courage into hearts that are anxious about today. Help us notice God’s presence in the ordinary moments and trust Him with the moments we cannot anticipate. So we breathe, we release the need to control everything, and we receive this day as a gift from God. Watch over our coming and going, Lord. It is a time to place the whole day into the hands of God. Father, I pray for those listening in Ireland, South Korea, Botswana, the Netherlands, Israel and Zimbabwe. Thank You that You have been with them through every step today, including the steps they understood and the ones they did not. Where we made mistakes, give us humility without condemnation. He invites you to bring the restless places of your mind into His presence and allow Him to become the centre again. Not because everything has been perfect, but because You have remained faithful. Thank You for the ordinary gifts that I can so easily overlook. Ephesians 3:20 — God Can Do More Than We Ask: An Evening Prayer to Trust Him Themes: Trust • Faith • Expectation Scripture — Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” As the day begins to quieten, there can be a temptation to replay everything that happened. Paul reminds us that God is able to do more than we can ask or imagine. That does not mean every prayer will unfold exactly as we expect. Let faith become quieter and deeper within me. I release the unfinished things of today. I release the need to have every answer tonight. And I place tomorrow into the hands of Jesus. You are God. Hebrews 12:1–2 — Fix Your Eyes on Jesus: A Midday Prayer to Keep Going Themes: Perseverance • Focus • Faith Scripture — Hebrews 12:2 (NIV)
 “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” By the middle of the day, you can sometimes feel the weight of everything that still needs to be done. The morning energy has faded, the problems have not disappeared, and you may be wondering how you are going to keep going. Perhaps today you do not need another demand placed upon you. Perhaps you need to lift your eyes again. Hebrews does not tell us to fix our eyes on our circumstances. It tells us to fix our eyes on Jesus. He is not distant from the road you are walking. He has gone before you, and He remains the centre of your faith. Lord Jesus, at this point in the day I bring You my tiredness, my distractions and the things that are testing my patience. Help me not to lose heart simply because the journey is taking longer than I expected. I pray for people listening in the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, and South Africa. Strengthen those who are quietly persevering through responsibilities that nobody else may see. Jesus, turn my attention back towards You. When I am tempted to measure everything by today’s circumstances, remind me that You are still Lord. When I feel like giving up, give me grace for the next step rather than anxiety about the whole road. Teach me to run my race with endurance. Help me lay aside whatever is weighing my heart down, and keep my eyes fixed upon You. I do not need to finish everything today. I simply need to remain faithful to You today. So I breathe deeply, I receive Your strength, and I continue with Jesus. Amen. Blessing May Christ steady your heart through the rest of this day. 2 Corinthians 5:17 — A New Creation in Christ: A Morning Prayer for a Fresh Start Themes: Renewal • Identity • Hope Scripture — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
 “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” Sometimes a new day arrives, but yesterday seems to arrive with it. You remember what went wrong, what you wish you had said differently, or the things you wish you could change. And yet the gospel tells us that our past does not have to become the definition of our future. In Christ, there is a new beginning. Not because we have suddenly become perfect, but because Jesus has done something new in us. His grace gives us permission to stop living as though yesterday still has the final word. Father, I bring You the things I regret, the mistakes I have made and the memories I keep carrying. I do not want to be imprisoned by yesterday. Thank You that in Christ there is forgiveness, renewal and a new identity. I pray for those listening in Ireland, South Korea, Botswana, the Netherlands, Israel, and Zimbabwe. Some may be beginning again after disappointment. Some may simply need fresh courage for another day. Meet them with Your grace, Lord. Jesus, help us to see ourselves through what You have done, rather than through everything we have done wrong. Where shame has become loud, let Your grace speak more deeply. Where disappointment has made us hesitant, give us courage to begin again. Holy Spirit, gently renew our minds today. Help us leave behind what needs to be left behind, while receiving the lessons You have taught us. Give us a clean heart and a steady spirit. I release yesterday into Your hands. I receive today as a gift. And I trust Jesus with the person I am becoming. Amen. Blessing May you walk today in the freedom of Christ, knowing that His grace is greater than your past.
