“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.” As the day begins to close, we often look back and measure how things have gone. Some days leave us grateful; others leave questions, disappointments or concerns about what tomorrow may bring. But the end of the day is not the end of hope. You know what each person has already carried today. You know the conversations, responsibilities, disappointments and pressures that have quietly drained their strength. Lord, meet them here. Where someone feels weary, let Your presence become real. Where discouragement has begun to settle in, breathe fresh hope into their heart. Where someone feels they have nothing left to give, remind them that they were never created to carry everything in their own strength. Jesus, we bring You our weakness without pretending. You already know where we are tired. You know what has tested us and what we are still trying to carry. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life into weary hearts. Renew our strength for this moment, not by promising that every difficulty will disappear, but by reminding us that we do not have to face it alone. Give us grace for the next conversation, wisdom for the next decision and courage for the next step. So we pause and breathe. We release the pressure to prove ourselves, and we receive the strength that comes from hoping in God. We may not have everything we need for tomorrow, but Your grace is here for today. Scripture — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him.” By nine o’clock, the day is moving. Decisions need to be made, people need answers and there may already be situations where you simply do not know which way to turn. When the road ahead is unclear, God does not ask you to have every answer. He asks you to trust Him. Spoken Prayer Father, I pray for those listening in Ireland, South Korea, Botswana, the Netherlands, Israel and Zimbabwe. You know the decisions sitting before them today. You know the questions they are carrying and the choices they may be struggling to make. Sometimes we want to see the whole road before we take the next step. We want certainty before obedience and answers before we move. But Your Word reminds us that we can trust You even when our understanding is limited. Jesus, come into the decisions we are making today. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there are competing voices, help us recognise what is true. Where fear is influencing our choices, settle our hearts and teach us to listen to You. Holy Spirit, give us wisdom that is grounded in God’s Word and shaped by love. Help us slow down enough to pray before we react, and give us courage to follow the direction You place before us. Lord, we do not need to know everything. We simply need to trust You with the next step. So we release the pressure of having every answer and place our plans into Your hands. Guide us today, Jesus. Straighten the path before us where You desire us to walk, and give us the confidence to follow You one step at a time. Amen.
