Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” PASTORAL PRAYER By midday, you may be discovering that your energy has not kept pace with everything the day has asked of you. Perhaps you have been working, caring for someone, dealing with pressure or simply trying to keep going. There is no shame in admitting that you are tired. So pause with Jesus. Paul reminds us that we do not have to lose heart. Even when our outward strength is being worn down, God can renew us inwardly, day by day. Lord Jesus, meet us in our weariness. Where our strength is low, sustain us. Where discouragement has begun to settle in, renew our hearts. Help us not to measure Your faithfulness by how energetic we feel today. We pray for Ghana, Nigeria and Rwanda, asking You to strengthen families, churches and communities. We remember Uganda, Australia and China, asking for sustaining grace for those who are carrying heavy responsibilities, serving others or facing difficult circumstances. Holy Spirit, renew our inner strength and help us keep our eyes on Jesus. Señor Jesús, renueva nuestros corazones. Senhor Jesus, renova-nos por dentro. Panginoong Jesus, palakasin Mo ang aming puso. Three Prayer Themes: Direction • Wisdom • Help Scripture — Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” PASTORAL PRAYER The morning is moving quickly now, and perhaps your mind is already full of plans. There are things you need to accomplish, people you need to speak with, decisions waiting for you and responsibilities that cannot simply be ignored. Planning is part of life, but we were never meant to carry the weight of the future alone. So pause with Jesus. Before you push forward, bring your plans to Him. Lord, we commit to You what we are doing today. Shape our plans where they need changing. Close doors that would take us away from what is good, and give us wisdom to recognise the doors You want us to walk through. When we are tempted to rush, slow us down. When we are afraid to act, give us courage. We pray for Singapore, Japan and South Africa, asking for wisdom and peace among families, workplaces and communities. We remember Germany, Kenya and Austria, asking You to guide those making important decisions and strengthen those carrying responsibility. Holy Spirit, help us surrender our own agenda without surrendering our responsibility. Keep our hearts attentive to Jesus. Señor Jesús, dirige nuestros pasos. Senhor Jesus, guia os nossos caminhos. Perhaps there is something you are already thinking about, something that feels bigger than your strength. Maybe you have responsibilities waiting for you, or a concern you carried into sleep has followed you into this morning. The psalmist asks a simple question: where does my help come from? Then comes the answer. My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Jesus, we lift our eyes to You today. We bring You the things that make us feel vulnerable, the situations we cannot control and the people we are concerned about. Be our protection as we step into this day. Give us courage where we feel uncertain, and help us remember that our lives are held by the God who made heaven and earth. We pray for Botswana, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe, asking You to watch over families, churches and communities. We remember the United States, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, asking for Your peace, protection and wisdom over those beginning their day. He invites you to come to Him. “Come to me,” He says. Not when everything is sorted. Not when you have found every answer. Come as you are. Lord Jesus, we bring You the burdens we have carried today. We surrender the conversations we cannot change, the problems we cannot solve tonight and the people we cannot protect by worrying about them. Teach our hearts to rest in Your care. We pray for Hong Kong, Romania and Russia, asking for peace in homes, wisdom for communities and comfort for those facing difficult circumstances. We remember Ireland, South Korea and Israel, asking that Your presence would strengthen people who are weary and bring hope where hearts are troubled. The God who has been with you through this day is still with you now. Romans calls Him the God of hope, and that hope is not wishful thinking. It is confidence in who God is. Lord Jesus, we bring You the things we cannot change and the things we cannot yet understand. Where uncertainty has unsettled us, give us peace. Where disappointment has weakened our hope, restore it. Teach us to trust You with what lies beyond our sight. We pray for Belgium, Spain and France, asking that Your hope would reach families, churches and communities. We remember Canada, Brazil and Hungary, asking You to strengthen those who are facing uncertain circumstances and help them discover peace in Your presence. Psalm 23 tells us that He refreshes our soul and guides us along the right paths. Lord Jesus, meet us in this moment. Where we have become weary, bring renewal. Where disappointment has drained us, restore our hope. Where the road feels long, give us strength to take the next faithful step. We pray for Ghana, Nigeria and Rwanda, asking You to strengthen families, churches and communities. James reminds us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God. And what a gracious invitation that is. God does not shame us for asking. He gives generously. So, before you make that decision, have that conversation or take that next step, pause with Jesus. Lord, we need Your wisdom today. Where our thoughts are confused, bring clarity. Where we are uncertain, guide us. Where we are tempted to act too quickly, teach us patience. Give us confidence that comes not from knowing everything, but from knowing You. We pray for United Kingdom, Germany and Austria, asking for wisdom among families, churches, leaders and communities. We remember Belgium, Spain and France, asking that people making difficult decisions would find grace, discernment and peace. Psalm 46:1 — God Is Our Refuge and Strength: A Morning Prayer for Courage Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: God’s Presence • Refuge • Courage Scripture — Psalm 46:1 (NIV) “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” PASTORAL PRAYER Before the day begins asking things of you, come quietly to Jesus. Perhaps you have woken with concerns already waiting for you. Maybe there is something ahead that you would rather avoid, or something behind you that has followed you into this morning. Whatever you are carrying, you can bring it into the presence of God. Psalm 46 says that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Notice those words: ever-present. He is not distant from the ordinary pressures of your life. Jesus meets you here, in this morning, before you know what the day will bring. Lord, we place this day into Your hands. Be our refuge when we feel exposed, our strength when we feel weak, and our help when we do not know what to do. We pray for India, Italy and Bahrain, asking You to bring peace and protection to families and communities. We remember Singapore, Japan and South Africa, asking You to strengthen those who are beginning their day with burdens of their own. Holy Spirit, settle our hearts and help us become aware of God’s presence. Señor Jesús, sé nuestro refugio. Senhor Jesus, sê a nossa força. Panginoong Jesus, samahan Mo kami. We do not need to borrow courage from tomorrow. We need grace for today. So, Jesus, walk with us into this day. When trouble comes, remind us where our refuge is. Perhaps some things went well, while other things are still turning over in your mind. A conversation, a bill, a family concern, something you wish you had done differently. Night can make those thoughts feel louder. But before you carry them into bed, pause here with Jesus. You have done what you could today. Now you can place the rest into God’s hands. Jesus, we bring You the things we cannot change, the people we cannot protect ourselves, and the questions that have no answer tonight. We surrender them to You, not because they do not matter, but because they matter to You. Psalm 4 reminds us that we can lie down in peace because the Lord is our safety. Father, quiet our minds. Let Your presence become more real to us than the worries competing for our attention. Tonight we pray for Hong Kong, Romania and Russia, asking You to bring peace into homes and strength to those carrying hidden burdens. We pray for Ireland, South Korea and Israel. Three Prayer Themes: Purpose • Hope • Trust Scripture — Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” PASTORAL PRAYER The day is beginning to settle, but perhaps your mind has not. You may be looking back at what happened today while wondering about tomorrow. There are things you cannot change, questions you cannot yet answer and parts of your future that remain completely outside your view. So pause here with Jesus. You have carried enough for today. You do not need to solve tomorrow tonight. Lord, we bring You our uncertainty. Sometimes the future feels unclear, especially when plans have changed or life has not turned out as we expected. Yet Your Word reminds us that You have not lost sight of us. You are the God who sees beyond the moment we are standing in. We pray for Belgium, Spain and France, asking You to bring hope to families, wisdom to leaders and peace to those facing uncertain days. We pray for Canada, Brazil and Hungary. Remind people who feel forgotten that their lives still matter deeply to You. Holy Spirit, help us trust God even when we cannot see the whole picture. Señor Jesús, ponemos nuestro futuro en Tus manos. Senhor Jesus, confiamos em Ti. Panginoong Jesus, hawak Mo ang aming bukas. We do not know everything tomorrow will bring, but we know the One who holds tomorrow. Jesus, help us release what we cannot control and receive the hope You give today.
