It’s important that we become proactive about accepting and dealing with negative emotions. What we resist will persist. Once we’re done experiencing a certain negative emotion in its entirety, only then we are able to let it go.

One important thing to realize and always keep in our minds is this: Ephemeral impediments are not permanent defeats. If necessary, we can course-correct and pivot our paths, but we must never stop moving forward. Progress is the name of the game.

Many of us unfortunately think that life is a zero-sum game. If someone gets a taste of success such as getting a promotion and earning a higher income than us or buying a new house, we think that there is less for us now. We start hating when other people succeed and harbor resentment and jealousy towards them.

With this scarcity mindset we will never succeed because if we condemn the wealth and success of another person, we condemn the wealth and success of ourselves as well. It’s a reflection that we are not in alignment with the abundance of the Universe. The Universe is expanding and so are our choices and the resources around us.

We need to have a proper plan but also stay away from getting too much into the details. Planning is necessary but execution is the most important thing. Because only action taken in the right direction will help us get unstuck and move forward enabling us to continue our journey, whether it be a personal or a professional one.
