Wednesday 7th October 2020.

Hello and a lovely Wednesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

We thank God for how the month is going and we trust God that it is going to be a great day for you in the name of Jesus. We have been talking about the call of dreams, dream calls. Your dream is speaking to you and I pray God will give you the grace to hear in the name of Jesus.

This morning we will read from the book of Ruth 1:16-17 (NLT)

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”

The story of Ruth is in the book of Ruth. There was Ruth, there was Naomi are mother in law and there was her mate Orpah. So, Ruth and her mate Orpah had married the sons of Naomi and after a while Naomi's husband, Elimelech died. Her two sons died too. Naomi became a widow, and her two daughters-in-law became widows. Life was so tough, and things were so bad that Naomi decided to go back to her home country in Israel and told her daughters in-law to stay back and do something with their lives. Orpah decided after she heard the stack truth that there was nothing waiting for her in Israel to go back and start her life. But Ruth said "No!" She said "I am going to follow you wherever you go, I am making a decision to stay with you and to die with you" and the question is this; what made this young lady seemingly throw her life away like that? What was she seeing in Israel? What was she seeing in the life of Naomi? that she seem to be throwing her future away and made such a heavy decision.

Ruth 1:6 it says this; " Then Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had blessed His people in Judah by giving them good crops again" One thing that Ruth had come to understand I am sure through her interaction with Naomi and through interacting with her Jewish husband and family was that God ultimately did good to His people and she saw that no matter how bad things were, no matter how challenging things were, you could bank your life and future with the God of Israel. They didn't say these words to her but, remember what we said about vision or dreams? that it is the inner or mental picture of a desired future that aligns with scripture or the word of God. God ultimately does His people good and Ruth had seen that in her mind and she understood and knew that if you took side with this God of Israel by taking side with Naomi, no matter how challenging things are today, tomorrow will be alright.

And I pray that somebody will see that kind of a vision that no matter how things are today, no matter your challenging they are, your business, family, finances, and your health. You will see from scriptures that God has a great future for you. Make that decision and stand with it and just as Ruth moved from that place as an outsider she became an insider, she became the wife of a man called Boaz, she became the grandmother of king David and she came in the line of Jesus. You can just never really imagine what wonderful thing God will do as you respond to that dream. I pray you receive that grace today in the name of Jesus.

Hello and a lovely Tuesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

God's dream is calling you to a place of greatness, power, and influence not just for you but for your society, neighbourhood, community and for your world. There are two things we said earlier; your identity and your dreams that impacts our lives in an immensely powerful way. Your identity impacts you and you alone first, but your dream is not just for you. It ultimately benefits you, but it is for the benefit of your world and your larger society. When we live by our dreams, the dream God shows us, it takes us beyond ourselves. It is a blessing to us, and it blesses the nations of the earth.

I pray the Lord will give you strength and the grace to rise up to the call of dream and yield in the name of Jesus.

We will be reading the book of Acts 10:28-29 (NLT).

28 Peter told them, “You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean. 29 So I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. Now tell me why you sent for me.”

The Jews back in those days don't relate with the gentiles and Peter had seen in a dream, he had this vision that a sheet came down, he saw different animals there. God said, " kill and eat". He said, " Lord how do I eat anything unclean or unholy?" And God said " Listen; kill and eat". He saw that vision; dream and it was God's call to go beyond the Jewish nation to the gentile nation. You know Jesus said this in the book of Matthew. He said "You have made your culture or tradition to make the word of God of non-effect". Some of us are so used to where we are coming from, we are used to our way, culture, the tradition of men. That even when God is calling us in a new direction through a dream, we resist it. Some of us even bind God and say, "I cast you out! It can't be God!” That's what happened to Peter but we thank God that Peter was able to rise beyond his prejudice, he was able to rise beyond his culture, he was able to go into a new direction by the call of a dream.

Our world has changed, our world has experienced new things that we have never experienced before in a long time and new things are happening. Could God be calling you in a new direction? Could he be telling you to do things you have never done before, could he be calling to go in a direction you have never gone before, relate with people you have never related with before and you are binding and resisting it? That was the door that opened up people like me to come into the kingdom of God why? Naturally, I am gentile but through this simple response to this dream that Peter had, people like me who are not natural Jews were able to come into the kingdom. You don't know whose destiny will be shaped and transformed by your response and obedience to God's dream and I trust God for grace and strength for you that as you respond to this dream, it will rewrite the story of your life and the story of life of many on Jesus name.

Hello and a lovely Monday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

We thank God for what He is doing. We thank God for what He has done, and we thank God for what He will do in your life in the name of Jesus. May your eyes be opened; may your heart be receptive to receive God's dream for your life in the name of Jesus.

We have been talking about the power of dreams to change your life and we have used the life of Solomon, how Solomon was lifted to another level making him one of the greatest Kings of Israel through the power of dreams. How a simple teenage boy on the little community somewhere in the Middle East became the prime minister of one of the greatest nations in the world, one of the greatest nations in of his time. He save himself, saved his family and saved the world and we see how Joseph the foster father of Jesus was humble enough to yield to God's dream in spite of the decision he has made. God's dream is a door to the destiny that will change your life and as soon as you learn to yield to it and identify with it, believe me a new journey starts.

We will read this morning Acts2:17 (NLT)

17 ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams.

Just as young people can have dreams, old people can also have dreams. I have heard people say "Oh! Dreams are for old people". One of the things that the Holy Spirit comes to empower to do is to capture visions and pictures of the future. The prophesy says " your sons and daughters shall prophecy" that is about the future. It's says, "young men shall see vision and your old men shall dream dreams".

The Holy Spirit helps us catch pictures and ideas and concepts about the future and it is not just for young men, yes Solomon was a young man when he had his own, Joseph was a young man, Joseph the son of Jacob and Joseph the father of Jesus. They were all young men but there are dreams and visions for the old too. He said, " The old men will have dreams". One of the greatest blessings God has given my life is that; I have a lot of wonderful relationship with elderly people in their seventies, eighties, and it's a wonderful experience to sit down with them. It is shocking that some even in their eighties have new visions and new dreams.

My encouragement this morning is this; Don't let age, time be a deterrent to you receiving and yielding to God's dream. The funny thing is this; God has a way of extending people's life, renewing strength as you yield to the dream. Moses was in his eighties when God showed him a new picture. God extended his life. Abraham started the journey at age 75 and God extended his life. He lived to a 175. He impacted lives, he impacted destiny, in fact three world religions identify with Abraham. The Jews, Christians, and Muslims; all of them identify with Abraham. Why? He saw something from God, and he yielded to that call. No matter your age; young, old, male, female, rich and poor. Understand that there is a dream for you. Yield to it and see how God will use it to take your life up and your destiny up in Jesus name.

Hello and lovely Sunday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

I trust God that your month is going well. We are still talking about dreaming your way up. God wants to lift you and dream is one of the ways He does it. The dream call is what we have been talking about, believe me God is calling you and there is a dream out there for you. If you have not seen it already.

We are going to read this morning from the book of Matt 1:18-20 (NLT)

" 18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19 Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Joseph was very good man living his life gently, a nice carpenter living a simple normal life. He got engaged to this young lady. He wanted to marry her, she comes and say " listen; I am pregnant" he said how? " I have not touched you". She said "the holy Spirit" it sounded completely absurd; it sounds crazy. He said "listen How did you get pregnant?" They will think I am the one. She said " it wasn't you "it was the holy spirit" because he loved her and could not handle this. He choose to put our quietly. He had made the decision and the decision was this; you know what I cannot handle this Mary. We will just go our separate ways. I will not disgrace you. We will do it quietly whatever the society says when they find out that's up to you and because God knew he was a good man. Even though he had made his decision. God showed him something in a dream that changed the direction of his life and secured him a place in the future. Dreams are that powerful. A dream can change your life, direction and decision. The call of God's dream is one of the most powerful, the greatest on any life, like we said, a dream is simply a picture of a desirable future that aligns with the scripture or from the pages of the scripture. So God spoke his word through a dream to Joseph and it changed the direction of his life forever. The simple carpenter became the foster father of the saviour of the world and everything about himself and his wife Mary changed.

There is a positive change around the corner for you but it starts with giving up your decision, giving up your way and embracing God's dream as you embrace that dream as you follow that dream, you will find out that it secures your place in destiny and it makes you an eternal excellence. The Bible says " And the Joy of many generations".

May you have the grace, strength and humility to focus your way, forsake your decisions and align with God's dream for your life in the name of Jesus.

Hello and a lovely Saturday morning to you in yesterday name of Jesus.

We are still talking about the dream call. How to dream your way up. God uses the power of dreams to call us to a new reality, to call us into a new place. There are so many of us God has sent us dreams to call us out, to call us up and we are not responding but believe as we begin to respond to the call of dreams, particularly the dreams from God. That is the doorway to a change of level and change of situation in our lives. What do we mean by dream in this context?

A dream is simply a mental picture of a desirable future particularly those that align with the scriptures. That is the simple definition of dream that we will use here.

There is the story of this young man in 1 Kings 3:5 (NLT)

There is a dream call to you today Maybe, God has shown you many years ago, maybe he is showing you again, maybe by this message you are listening to this morning you are remembering that God has being calling you or He has called you to the dream. No matter how great it looks believe me every dream will look bigger than you but God told Solomon He said " listen; there will be nobody like you based on this dream" and believe me till tomorrow they still talk about the wealth of Solomon, the wisdom of Solomon but it started with a dream, the call of a dream and the response to that call.

I pray that the Lord will give you strength and grace to rise up to a new level as you respond to the call of God's dream today in the name of Jesus.

A wonderful morning to you in the name of Jesus.

We thank God for bringing us into the month of October. We pray that it will be a season of greatness and lifting for all of us in the name of Jesus. God's grace upon your life will affect you in a new and mighty way and will touch the place you live, work and everywhere you are in the name of Jesus.

Our God is a God of people and he is a God of places. He wants people to go up and He wants places to go up. He wants our nations to go up. How does He do it? One of the major tools He uses is the power of dreams. So, throughout this month of October. We will be talking about; " Dream your way up ". It's a new season in the name of Jesus. The year 2020 has come with its own unique set of challenges but in spite of all that we can still dream our way up. The power of dreams, one of the forces that God uses to change our lives, take us up, take nations up, change our situation and bring positive change in our lives.

The Bible says in General 37:5 it says, " one night, Joseph had a dream." This little teenage boy in the small community somewhere in the Middle East had this dream and this little dream he had turned this young man into the prime minister of the greatest nations in its time. He took his society up and lifted up his family and changed the whole situation not just for his life, not just for his family but for the entire world at its time. His dream preserved his family, his dream elevated him, and his dream preserved the earth. That is how powerful a dream is, I don't know how this year has been for you. I don't know how it has dropped you down, knocked you down. Joseph was dropped in a pit. Joseph was sold as a slave. Joseph ended up in prison, but the power of his dream took him all through that and elevated him to the highest place in his land. The pit did not take his dream, the prison did not take his dream, being sold into slavery did not take this dream. No matter what happened around him. He kept his dream and he dreamt his way up.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus. Yes, the year has been challenging. Yes, the pandemic came. Probably, some economic situations came maybe some disappointment came. Some strange relationship, health challenges, legal issues but no matter what don't let them take your dream. Why? That is your elevation to another level. It will lift you up. It will transform you and bring great things into your life.

As you go into this weekend, commit to yourself and commit to God. I will hold on to the dream, that dream is the call that takes you to your next level. May you not give up on it in Jesus Name.

The bible says God is the one who crowns the year for us with His goodness and causes our path to drop with fatness, with abundance and increase. May that be our experience each and every day in Jesus’ name. The bible says in the book of Psalm 24 verse 1 NLT): The earth is the Lord ’s, and all its fullness, the world and all its people belongs to Him. And as we come into this month of October we’re just reviewing some of our activities this year and we found out that our broadcasts that we started early this year is already in 5 continents of the 7 continents in the world, we’re in 17 countries and over 50 cities. Of a truth, our God is the God of the whole earth and we want to thank God for what started in Lagos, Nigeria is going to the nations of the world, and the bible says though your beginning will be small your latter end will greatly increase.

Sometimes we think that things are not wonderful about us, like when they told them Jesus was from Bethlehem someone said can any good come out from Bethlehem and so we have our different nations and our lives and sometimes we think that nothing good, nothing wonderful can come out of our lives but I want you to know today that God is a God of nations, He’s a God of people and He’s a God of places so wherever place He has put you if you’re there His grace is available for you and He wants you to thrive and prosper there as you focus on Him in the name of Jesus.

If you look through the word of God right from the beginning of the bible in Genesis He talks about heavens and earth, by the time you go to the end of the bible in revelation He talks about a new heaven and a new earth, and God is a God of places so wherever God has placed you understand He wants you to thrive there, He wants you to prosper there but you need to put your foot on the ground but you need to put your foot down and fix your mind and work through it. God works with people and He works through places. He created a garden of Eden put man there, when He was going to change the life of Abraham, He said I’m taking you from this place you ate to a place where I will prosper you. Understand that God wants to prosper you where you are, but you must put your foot down, you must put your mind in it and work with it.

How does God work with us in these places? He works through identity and our dreams, and what I mean by identity is the uniqueness of who you are, the uniqueness of your personality, the uniqueness of your experience the uniqueness of your origin. God wants you to understand it, He wants you to identity with it and He wants you to focus on your dream. What do I mean by dream? Your desire, your mental picture of a desired and better future both for your life and whatever place you find yourself and that is God’s plan for you. So, throughout this month, understand that your identity is important the uniqueness of personality, the uniqueness of your experience is important and wherever God has placed you put your feet there and thrive. For those of us in Nigeria today is our 60th anniversary so I say congratulations Nigeria, happy anniversary and many more years in Jesus’ name. But whatever it is, if you want to see greatness in our nation and our lives it’s important, we connect our purpose to God’s purpose wrap it around your personality and dream and dream and dream and dream.

I see a new beginning for you in the name of Jesus.

Hello and a wonderful Wednesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

Today is the last day of the month of September. We thank God for how he has kept us. We thank God for His mercy and grace and we declare in the name of Jesus. We are finishing strong; we are finishing well and we are entering the month of October in grand style in Jesus name.

Judges 7:9-11 (NLT)

9.That night the Lord said, “Get up! Go down into the Midianite camp, for I have given you victory over them! 10.But if you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah. 11.Listen to what the Midianites are saying, and you will be greatly encouraged. Then you will be eager to attack. “So Gideon took Purah and went down to the edge of the enemy camp.

God had told Gideon that he was going to defeat the midianites. As he and his soldiers were getting ready. He was getting a bit discouraged and God said, "I want to encourage you. I want to help you boost your conviction". I know I have spoken to you but just in case you are scared, go down to the camp of the midianites and hear what they are saying about you. So, when Gideon and his servants went in there, he heard one of the midianite soldiers talk about a dream he had. He said " Listen; I had this dream, there was a loaf of barley bread that rolled within our camp and was knocking off our tents. The other said "That means, God has given victory to Gideon. He is going to decimate us;  he is going to win this war and we are going to be at his mercy. When Gideon heard that he was encouraged and went back to his camp.

Sometimes the place of external confirmation to those things God has spoken to us can help us build and cultivate our faith. God had spoken to Gideon about the fact that he was going to battle with the midianites and was going to win but He gave him some external confirmation. It is important from time to time we understand that God's supernatural power is there, signs and wonders, the manifestation of the gift of the Spirit etc. All these things are there to help us boost our faith.

Paul was writing to the Corinthian Christians and he was talking in 1 Cor 14 he said "we should not just speak in tongues but we should pray that we can interpret or prophesy". He said because in so doing we can speak mysteries and talk about the mysteries in people's heart and when the see such a supernatural manifestation. It makes them fear and it makes them know that the power of God is real. When we demonstrate the power of God, when we demonstrate the supernatural, when we experience the supernatural. It heals our faith; it cultivates our faith.

I want us to believe God, have faith in God. Expect and look out for the supernatural manifestation of God in your life. Yes it is important to know what He has said, yes it is important to have a confirmation in His word, yes it is important to have a witness in our spirit but it also helps from time to time when we see the demonstration of the supernatural.

I pray in the name of Jesus as we begin to go into another month of October and towards the end of year. We will begin to see increased manifestation of the supernatural in our life and it will boost our faith in Jesus name.

May God's hand rest upon you mightily. May His grace be with you in Jesus name.

Hello and a lovely Tuesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.

We are still learning how to cultivate our conviction.

Pro 13:20 ( NKJV)

20. He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

What is the Bible saying to us here? Very simple, we are conditioned by our company. The company you keep will never leave you the same. So, you want to be wise, walk with the wise. If you don't walk with the wise, you end up with lots of those who are not wise. So, it is important we learn to keep company with the wise. Yes! God should be our company. God is a spirit but even God who is a spirit wants us to cultivate the company of Godly people. Why? When we keep company with Godly people. People of Faith, conviction it had a way of rubbing on us and building our own conviction too.

Again, if we go back to the story of Moses in Exo 4:14 when Moses was struggling with what he had to do to go back to Egypt. God said to him " Your brother Aaron is on the way". I have spoken to him and he is coming to see you and he is happy that he is going to see you. The moment Moses heard that his brother Aaron was coming to see him. It made it easy for Moses to make his move too. Why? There was somebody he could relate with. He knew his brother Aaron; he knew that if Aaron could walk with God and listen to God and move. He could do the same thing.

Also, we know the story of Mary. When God sent His Angel – Gabriel, and he told her those things that looked impossible. He said, "Your aunt Elizabeth is six months pregnant". This is the woman who they said was barren and the moment the angel said that Mary was able to relate. Once Angel Gabriel left and Mary moved out and went to see her aunt Elizabeth and she stayed with her why? In the company of Elizabeth, Mary was able to cultivate her conviction to the point where she could deliver the baby Jesus herself.

It is important we stay around people that can cultivate our conviction. There are some people that all they do is talk down at us, tell us we can't do it and they drain our conviction. Stay away from such people. You need your conviction to conquer lives challenges and if we are going to do that, you need to cultivate it and stay in the company of those who help you focus on cultivating your conviction and overcoming.

I pray God will give you the wisdom and strength to stay around such people and the grace and strength to cut off those who drain your conviction.

A wonderful Monday to you in the name of Jesus.

A few days left and we will be in the month of October. We thank God for His grace. We are still talking about cultivating conviction and one of the ways we cultivate conviction is through practice.

The Bible says in the book of James 2:26 it says, " Faith without works is dead". That is, Faith that you don't put to work will not work. If you don't put your faith to work, it will not work. So, it is important we put our faith to work and how do we put our faith to work? You don't try your faith out on big things first. You try it out on little things and gradually we move on to big things. If we work our faith in those little things in our privacy and just begin to build it from there so that our faith can grow, and we can cultivate our conviction.

David was at the back side of the desert. Nobody saw him, nobody knew him, he faced the lions there, he faced the bear there and that's all he knew. Nobody knew about it. And one day, he came out in public and saw Goliath and because he had practised his conviction in God to deliver him from the bear and lion. He was sure that God will deliver him from the hand of the giant Goliath in public and that's exactly what happened.

Back to the story of Moses in Exo 4:3-7 God was still trying to convince Moses about going to the land of Egypt and he wanted to show him His power so he told Moses He said "Moses what is in your hand" He said "Throw it on the floor" he threw it on the floor. It became a snake and Moses was shocked and God said, "pick it up at the tail". He picked it up at the tail and it became a rod again. The next thing, God said " Take your hands, put it within your clothes". He did it. He became a leprous when he brought it out. And God said, "put it back in there". He did it again and it became his normal hand again.

All these things that God showed Moses was in the private, it was simply between Moses and God. So, it is important we learn to build our conviction first in the private before we come to the public. You know what Jesus said, He said " The God who sees what you do in secret will reward you openly. Before God could make Abraham to go and sacrifice his son Isaac in Genesis 22. The first thing he asked him to do was Listen; leave your father's house. If God had told him at that point " Go and kill somebody" most likely he wouldn't but God started with little things before he moved on to bigger things.

In Rom 4:12 (NKJV) it says this "And the father of circumcision to those who are not of the circumcision but who also work in the steps of faith which our father Abraham had while he was still circumcised". what I want you to take note is this; The Bible says, "who walk in the steps of faith" . There is nothing wrong in taking steps of faith. Some of us want to take a leap of faith. It is good, but before you take the leap of faith. Take those little little steps of Faith.

You want to cultivate your conviction? begin first in the privacy of your home, begin first with the little things and begin to build it up to big things and the God who sees you through the lion and helps you conquer the bear. The day you will have to see the Goliath. He will also be conquered by your conviction in Jesus name.
