23 year old Julie Kibuishi’s body was found in the bedroom of her friend Sam Herr’s apartment, but he was nowhere to be found. Sam, like Julie, was a college student, and he enrolled after returning from deployment in Afghanistan. A manhunt for Sam ensued, but their investigation led to a different man: Daniel Wozniak. Dan was an unemployed actor at the local community theatre and a Costa Mesa local like Sam; in fact, they lived in the same apartment complex. Dan couldn’t have anything to do with the murder though… Right?
