Those unemployment numbers aren't looking so hot right now, nor is the stock market.  If you've got money you're primed to purchase some cheap stock, but what if you don't?  Probably not a good idea to spend your stipend on an index fund.  For now, maybe just hunker down and listen to Danielle.
