The last Perspectives of 2011 features my opening set for Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren at LA's top nightclub, Avalon Hollywood. This was recorded live on December 17 using Pioneer CDJ2000 CD players and DJM900 mixer. Of course, nothing actually beats being there with the state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, but hopefully this will help make you feel like you were right there on the dancefloor.

Perspectives turns 5 years old this month! To celebrate this momentous occasion, we invited someone really special to provide the guest mix. That someone is Robert Babicz, a modern pioneer of electronic dance whose musical output is both inspiring and staggering. Producing hundreds of tracks under his own self-proclaimed Babiczstyle, it came as no surprise when Robert was invited to perform on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix with Pete Tong earlier this year.

Making his debut on the program is highly gifted Dutch producer, Roger Martinez, one of your most requested artists on Perspectives. His exclusive 60 minute guest set leans heavily towards a Techno sound, although as he says, he prefers to keep his "musical crosshairs aimed at the full musical spectrum." 2011 saw the emergence of RogerMartinezLIVE, which consists of 100% Roger Martinez tracks. It comes as no surprise then that he was asked to join the prestigious GEM Bookings roster with his dynamic live show and impressive body of work.
