Darin Epsilon presents Perspectives Radio - Melodic House & Techno / Progressive House / Deep House / DJ Mixes

It's hard to believe the last time we had Eelke Kleijn on Perspectives was back in March 2007 for Episode 005! Over the past several months, I have received an overwhelming amount of requests from you to feature him on the show. So here he is... your most requested artist recorded live from his recent gig at F Club in Slovenia! Also featured in this episode is a 60 minute snippet of my opening set for James Zabiela at LA's top nightclub, Avalon.

Our next featured artist on Perspectives is a young and talented up-and-comer from my hometown of Chicago. Nick Stoynoff has been quickly building a name for himself with quality releases on Black Hole, Armada, Solaris, Proton Music, and Baroque Records. Recently, he was invited to play a warmup set for Hernan Cattaneo at Chicago's top venue, Vision Nightclub. At the moment, Nick is piecing together a live act that will feature reworks of previous tracks, new remixes, and unreleased material. He is also set to launch his podcast in June 2011, so be on the lookout for that.

If you've been following the show, you know that we've had some big guests on the show. Few, however, can say they're bigger than Guy J right at this moment. Make sure to check out the last five minutes of part one for Darin's exclusive one-on-one interview with Guy. The Israelian producer sits down to talk with us about his latest album 1000 Words, out now on Bedrock Records.

Spring is in the air and you know what that means. Thousands upon thousands of party-goers from all over the world descend upon Miami for one week of networking and hedonistic partying. This is one of the most important times of year for the dance music industry, so naturally it feels appropriate to dedicate this month's program to Miami Music Week. Our featured guest for the 50th episode of Perspectives is Kenneth Thomas, the official warmup DJ for many of Paul Oakenfold's world tours and artist on Perfecto, Armada, and Hope Recordings, among many others. In his own words, KT describes this mix as a slightly darker, moodier mix, exclusively made for Perspectives Episode 050.

Every now and then, we here at Perspectives like to give credit to the movers and shakers in the progressive scene. This month's guest mix comes courtesy of Wes Straub from Calgary, Canada. For those of you who aren't in the know, Wes is one of Western Canada's brightest talents both as a DJ and producer. Locally, he has had the privilege of playing many of Calgary's biggest club shows, sharing the booth with the likes of Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Max Graham, and Infected Mushroom.
