  • Softy and Dick H1 - Have we seen the last of Felix? / Would you take the Clippers if...? / Rob Bolton on the PGA Championship
The Pelicans won the Zion Williamson, but what if he goes back to Duke? It's not likely, but it could happen, and it would be fascinating to watch. Felix was placed on the disabled list after last weekend's rough start, and it looks like he'll be out for at least a month. Is this the last we've seen of the King? It's very possible that they find a way to bring him back for one final send-off, but anything more than that seems unlikely. A question that's been tossed around on the station today: If you could bring the Clippers to Seattle today, but you'd have to keep the Clippers name, would you take it? It's amazing how many people are stubbornly against the idea simply to save the Sonics name. Now if you knew you only had to wait a year or two, that might be a different story. The PGA Championship is about to begin. How is Tiger looking, and how will the weather impact the course? We talk with Rob Bolton of PGATour.com.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Pronouncing Giannis Antetokounmpo / Ken Norton Jr. recap / Matt "Stretch" Johnson
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the NBA right now, but how many people know who he is? Obviously basketball fans do, but more casual fans? One day he'll be a household name, but in the meantime, even people who know the name can't pronounce it. Niner Nate goes around the iHeartMedia offices asking people how to pronounce it, and unsurprisingly, nobody can. In case you didn't catch it earlier, we re-run the Ken Norton Jr. interview. The Sounders take on Orlando City FC tonight. We check in with the voice of the club, Matt "Stretch' Johnson before the match.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - From Jimmy's on First / Ride the Mariners wave / La Canfora's 5 contenders / UW tight ends coach Jordan Paopao
Softy and Dick are at Jimmy's on First getting ready for tonight's Mariners game. Speaking of the M's, they actually won last night. We've said it over and over, this season is completely carefree. There's no downside because we aren't expecting much. Ride the Mariners wave; celebrate the wins but don't get stressed about the losses. Jason La Canfora has revealed his five contenders ffor next year's Super Bowl, and the Hawks are one of the teams. He puts a lot of stock in teams with top-level quarterbacks, and obviously Wilson is one of them. We catch up with Jordan Paopao, Washington's tight ends coach. Is thsi the best tight ends room he's had since he's been here?

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Should John Daly be able to use a cart? / Jon Wilner on the Pac-12 / Textimonials
John Daly is trying to get approval to use a cart this weekend. Tiger Woods commented on the subject, clearly not in support. This request seems to be because of an injury, which isn't the same thing as a disability, so should he be allowed to zip around the course on a cart? Jon Wilner joins us each Tuesday at 4:20 to talk all things Pac-12 courtesy of Simply Seattle. This week, could UCLA be ineligible for the tournament next season? (Will they even make the tournament anyway). We also get Jon's thoughts on Dick Tomey, the latest on the Arizona scandal, and his thoughts on the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Textimonials react to the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Sounders coach Brian Schmetzer / Fun with Audio: Dixon re-creates "Practice" rant / Tuesdays with Tip
Last week we hinted at a couple of new acquisitions by the Sounders, and this week we can actually talk about them. Brian Schmetzer, coach of the Sounders speaks about Xavier Arreaga and Joevin Jones joining the club, a couple of young Sounders doing well on the international stage, plus confirmation that Rodriguez won't play this week, and more. On Fun with Audio, Dixon Fain re-creates Allen Iverson's "Practice" rant from 2002, plus another awkward Wilson video, and more. Dave Tippett talks more about the NHL Playoffs, explains why injuries are kept so quiet in hockey, and we get more details on the new NHL Seattle fan portal.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Doug Baldwin's tweets of reflection / Longest Spring Training of All Time / NBA Playoffs are awesome, but...
Doug Baldwin released a series of tweets over the weekend reflecting on his life, formated as a message to his younger self. It certainly seemed to indicate that a journey has ended, but is it just the journey with the Hawks, or is he done with football for good? The Mariners have been awful of late, but what more did we expect. This is basically set up to be the longest Spring Training of all time. The organization should offer ticket packages at super low prices for the rest of the season just to pack the place. Let's get people in the door, even if the team isn't winning. The NBA Playoffs have been awesome, complete with the first game 7 buzzer beater in playoff history, but without a Seattle team in the league, it still feels like something's missing.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Cliff Avril on Baldwin, Ansah, more / Seahawks sign Geno Smith / Textimonials
KJR's midday co-host and former Seahawk calls in to share his thoughts on Doug Baldwin, the signing of Ziggy Ansah, and memories of his former defensive coordinator with the Lions, Gunther Cunningham. The Seahawks have signed Geno Smith. Our backup quarterback prayers have been answered! Okay, probably not, but how much have we really needed a backup in recent years? Not much. As long as Russ stays healthy, it doesn't matter who's in that spot. Textimonials at 49451 react to the first two hours of the show.

  • Softy and Dick H3- Travis Demers talks Trail Blazers / Seahawks sign Al Woods / Anthony Beyrouti plays Warrior or Blazer
When Nurkic went down earlier this season, most assumed that the Portland Trail Blazers were done. Now, it's the middle of May, the team has just beaten the Nuggets in seven games, and they're gearing up to take on Golden State in the Conference Finals. Current voice of the Blazers Travis Demers talks with us about where the team is at, and what the atmosphere is like in the Rose City right now. The Seahawks have signed defensive tackle Al Woods. There was a lot of uncertainty about the defense when Frank Clark was traded, but things seem to be on the upswing now. Dick Fain asks, which back-to-back Husky games will be the toughest this season. Anthony Beyrouti of Venue Kings plays Warrior or Blazer, with a chance for someone to win tickets to Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals in Portland on Monday.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Ziggy Ansah officially signed / Bill Krueger on the state of the Mariners / Carefree 2019 baseball season
We've talked about a little bit for the last few days, but it's finally official. Ziggy Ansah is now a Seahawk. How much we can expect from him remains to be seen, but he's probably not going to have quite the production of Frank Clark. We're still waiting who on this team is going to pop and become the next breakout player. The M's have finished up in New York, and have moved on to Boston, with a couple of injured players, JP Crawford and Shed Long have been called up. We talk with ROOT Sports' Bill Krueger about them, Happ's pitches to Dee, Kikuchi's alleged use of pine tar, and more courtesy of Venue Kings. The Mariners are on the decline, which wouldn't have been as big of a shock except for the crazy start to the year they had. Regardless, no one seems too angry. We've been set free by the fact that the team is in a rebuilding year. They've never quite set one up like this. It's a carefree season for Mariners fans.
