On today's episode, Seth speaks to David Medina, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) professional and Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®), abotu how he believes in the liberating power of investing for the future, to achieve financial freedom. 

As a Financial Advisor, he seeks to help others achieve a work optional lifestyle with the kind of retirement and legacy they desire. David brings 25 years of corporate experience, primarily in financial planning & analysis and consulting on workplace retirement plans, to his established investment advisory practice. He is delighted to leverage this knowledge to benefit private clients, ERISA plan sponsors and participants.

David serves as Treasurer of the Elizabeth House crisis pregnancy center where he helped establish a 403(b) plan for employees, and restructured their endowment which he continues to manage pro-bono. He enjoys mentoring MBAs at his alma mater, and serves as a board member for the local Financial Planning Association, Fiduciary Roundtable, Encore Trojans and Bruin Professionals. David is an Adjunct Professor at Azusa Pacific University where he teaches on Financial Markets.

David applies the same diligence to his clients’ finances as he does for his own family. This disciplined approach reduces the impact of predictions or emotions, which are often destructive to wealth. He also seeks to partner with plan sponsors to streamline solutions so employers can work on their business, while employees may improve productivity and retirement readiness.
