In this episode we have the privilege of speaking with Albert Lanier. Albert is a print journalist and freelance writer with a career spanning more than 2 decades. He has written for many publications in Hawaii, as well as in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Since retiring, Albert has started a sub stack, as well as his own YouTube channel. In this interview we talk with Albert about a recent sub stack article he's written on the "Unsolved Mysteries" television series, which he has researched extensively. On the night before Halloween in 1975, a fifteen year old girl named Martha Moxley was murdered in her own front yard. Evidence pointed to the two teenage boys who lived next door to the Moxley's, but it was all circumstantial. However one of the boys was eventually tried and convicted, but was released on bond years later and remains free to this day.

In this episode, we cover two separate disappearances involving 3 people. First, David Stone- a troubled stock broker who suddenly left his home, drove half way across the country and walked into the New Mexico desert in 1988. His bones were found years later, but no one has a clue what exactly happened. Second is the case of Patty Spencer and Pam Hobley- 2 teenage girls who walked away from their high school in Oscoda, Michigan in 1969 and have never been seen again. (Subject Matter Begins @ 5:00)

On Halloween night of 2002, a 21 yr old University of Minnesota student named Chris Jenkins walked out of a bar in Minneapolis and vanished. Four months later, his frozen body was found floating in the Mississippi River, just blocks from where he was last seen. The police initially ruled his death as accidental, but after years of protest from his family, they changed it to homicide. But who exactly caused Chris's death is still a mystery.
