An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie.
This week, Dawson and Oliver’s ridiculously long film is getting a screening and it is all everyone is talking about. Pacey and Audrey are discussing ‘body counts’ (thanks for that phrase, Katie), Joey is flirting with Charlie (urgh but we know why Jo!) and other stuff happening too, we suppose. We’re chatting confirmation of Charlie’s penis (and some excellent head canon), Grams literal body count, Amy being the least objective film critic ever and another rendition of a thoroughly unexpected song. So, let’s get ready for the screening of a film that is almost 3 HOURS LONG, be desperately and unnecessarily insulting to complete strangers, horribly test and trick people we are supposed to like and just get generally annoyed! And remember, you don’t choose the f-kboi life, the f-kboi life chooses you.

This week, we’re literally on a Highway to Hell with two awful kind of road trips. We’ve got Dawson, Jack and Jen back in Capeside for a super awkward child’s birthday party and Joey, Pacey and Audrey (and bloody Charlie, why?!?) at a ‘rock bar’. Better steel yourself everybody, Joey is singing again. We’re chatting how we would rank the terrible men of Dawson’s Creek, Katie’s excellent life advice, who’s got the biggest penis out of Charlie and Pacey and what it means to be ‘high maintenance’. So, let’s get in a car to Capeside or a ROCK bar, meet our mums new boyfriend or listen to Joey sing (which is worse, really?) and finally lose it over the quickest break up ever and the fact that Charlie is STILL HERE trying to romance wondrous unicorn woman Joey.

This week, we’ve split off into pairs and we’ve got Pacey and Jack at a gay bar (and off Katie goes again), Audrey and Jen with some rock stars and Dawson and Joey doing… something. Also, Wilder really is truly the at his worst if that is even possible. We’re chatting Audrey’s vagina of doom (pt2), an alien concept called ‘principles and morals’, the saddest version of Bad Romance and Pacey’s peen of mean. So, let’s head to a gay bar/gig/college film screening, be so angry at Wilder our little heads explode, talk about God and stuff and generally not be sure what is going on except that we’re back on the Dawson and Joey merry go round from hell. And grab your coats, it’s cold out there.

An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie.
This week, we’re tackling Downtown Crossing and… well, you all know. It’s a Joey centric episode (fine) and she’s dealing with some serious daddy issues via a mugging (terrible). How this episode is so long is beyond us. We’re chatting Neggy McNeggerson and Snarky McSnarkface, how we’d feel if Dawson got mugged, Katie gives the mugger a name and an Angel vs Spike debate. Also, there is some vaguely heartfelt stuff about fathers. So, let’s trot down an inexplicably empty city street, be sassy as all holy hell in the face of a truly terrifying situation, feel sorry for men who do not deserve it and sing The Carpenters (stop it!). Oh and call me, Dave, sweetheart.

This week, brace yourselves everyone because Dawson is back in Spielberg mode (yawn). Elsewhere, Joey is still pissing about with Wilder (horrible), f-kboi Charlie is back yet again (we thought we’d got rid of him) and things are progressing with Audrey and Pacey. We’re chatting Babyliss steam straighteners, how Wilder really is the worst of all time, David Duchovny’s penis and how Dawson got his groove back. Also, Kathryn seems to think it’s 2022? So, let’s make a film (but change everything all the time), continue to be negged by the very worst Dawson’s Creek has to offer, throw in some horny kissing and say words that might seem deep but mean nothing, SWEETHEART.
Thanks to Amy for choosing the title for this episode!

An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie.
This week, we’ve got an episode that has sone genuinely hateful things. Jen is being weird because… Dawson, Jack is being gaslighted by the frat brahs, Pacey is barely present and Joey? Less said about that the better. Also, Kathryn does not mind Oliver, don’t come at her. We’re chatting why Michelle Williams is a truly excellent actor, finding someone more dysfunctional than Katie to get advice from, how Oliver is a hottie now and, of course, were screaming about Wilder A LOT. Also, Katie is complete smashed by the end of this episode. So, let’s work on a script (we don’t want to though!), act giddily over Dawson (weird), work through some terrible binary oppositions linked to the appalling Wilder and finally punch a frat brah in the face. By the way, we love your trapper keeper!

This week, we’ve got a fairly Pacey centric episode (yay!) with some Jen and Dawson nonsense plus added homophobia (booo!) Also, Jen is being touted as Boston’s answer to Carrie Bradshaw and we’re supposed to think this is a good thing?!? We’re chatting Dante’s circles of hell (Dawson is involved), putting a one’s virginity in a pot pourri box, the sequel to Pacey and Joey’s crumbling 15 year marriage and Katie’s continuing fantasy storyline for Jack and Todd from Sweet Valley High. So, let’s fight about toothbrushes, get the best room but under totally crap conditions, start an random radio phone in and maybe go and sail around the Greek Islands… and remember, Civilisation can’t survive without us!

An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie. (featuring a super special intro!!!)
This week, we’ve got a split with Jen and Dawson back in Capeside (and the triumphant return of Gail!) and Pacey, Joey and Audrey are in Boston. Dawson is back to his bratty best/worst and Joey is letting her wild side out (which includes singing unfortunately). We’re chatting our very special intro (endlessly), wet t shirt competitions, Katie does a quote astounding version of Suspicious Minds and then says ‘making love’ which he'll never forgive herself for. So, let’s hop in the jeep of white privilege (or the red car of hotness), be completely gaslighted and negged by a variety of different men, sing terribly and get WILD (in a way that is pretty shit to be honest) for f-kboi energy.

This week, we’ve got an interesting episode which focuses on one place (Grams ever accommodating house), Joey, Pacey, Jack, Dawson, Jen, Audrey and the most awkward dinner party ever. We’re chatting the absorbent nature of purple satin sheets, what order you should eat food (such a riveting conversation), Charlie the f-kboi on tour and how Joey is the best part of this episode. So, let’s eat coagulated rice and under cooked chicken (you’ll get ill, guys), lock ourselves in bathrooms, whisper at people under our breath and be completely FINE, OK??!?!?

This week, we’re hanging out with Joey, Pacey and Jack with a smidge of Grams (because Dawson and Jen are banging, we suppose). They’re telling some stories that a purportedly scary but are fine/mediocre. We’re chatting the intellectual history of Europe, words we’ll be bringing back, the continuity clitoris and how Katie’s accidental dogging tale. So, let’s hang out at a library with a terrible recruitment policy, have a conversation with a ghost, something about a car, stop by with Jen at f-kboi FM and tell some stories that you would really have told your friends about as soon as they happened.
