Days of Our Lives fans have been left in suspense with the mystery killer targeting Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Alex and Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) spark a romance, only for Alex to find out that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is single. Meanwhile, the safety pads removed from the elevator that caused Bonnie's near-fatal fall lead Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to suspect foul play. The mystery killer is believed to be the same person behind the poisoned cupcakes that threatened the lives of the cast and crew on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is on the case, with Kerry Yeomans (Derek Yates) emerging as a suspect. The return of Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles), a soap-loving kidnapper, in the middle of February sweeps adds another twist to the plot. Fans are left wondering if Whitley is the mystery killer causing havoc for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
