Days of Our Lives fans are left wondering about a potential recasting of the character John Black, played by Drake Hogestyn. The recent episodes aired on March 31st and April 1st introduced a mysterious silver-haired man played by Alan Wayne Anderson, leading to a flurry of speculations. During the episodes, characters Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Andrew Donovan (Colton Little), and Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) find themselves in Estonia following a trail that they hope leads to John Black on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL fans see that while on this mission, the team encounters Orpheus (George DelHoyo), a villain from their past. After a series of events, they find a silver-haired man who Marlena fears might be John Black. The potential recasting of John Black has caused a stir among fans, especially since actor Drake Hogestyn agreed to a storyline involving the end of John Black's run on the soap opera due to his battle with cancer. However, Ken Corday, the executive producer, had a contingency plan to bring back the character if Hogestyn recovered.
