Days of our Lives sees Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) was left at the altar by her fiancé Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), setting the stage for a potential romantic rebound with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). The dramatic twist was orchestrated by EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) who, seeking revenge on Jada for his termination as district attorney, exposed her dubious methods as police commissioner. The scandal left Jada's professional reputation in tatters and her relationship with Rafe beyond repair on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees that as Jada grapples with the fallout, Shawn Brady, still smarting from Belle Black's (Martha Madison) affair with EJ, might offer more than just a shoulder to cry on. Meanwhile, the real Rafe, held captive by EJ and Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering), would undoubtedly be aghast to discover his fiancée's new liaison upon his return.
