Johnny Surles is a veteran and retired Lieutenant with the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He was one of the first on the scene when Richard Floyd McCoy Jr robbed The Bank of North Carolina in 1974 after his escape from prison. A distinguished Mason, Johnny often gives presentations on DB Cooper aka Richard Floyd McCoy Jr.
