Bitwise Industries co-founders and former co-CEOs Jake Soberal and Irma Olguin, Jr. have agreed to deal with the Securities and Exchange Commission over investment fraud. The agreement with SEC only partially resolves the totality of charges against the pair. GOP sources say that Speaker Mike Johnson’s two-step continuing resolution is on track to pass the House when it comes to the floor. The White House has blasted the new speaker’s two-step stopgap, but congressional leaders have warmed up to it.
