This week on Dear Lovely Universe I interviewed Gabriel DeRitas greatly about permission in relation to personal development. This episode is for you if you are looking to align your life to more of how you feel inside.
Yes, again I did mean to post an episode about the importance of gratitude this week! I totally did. But then I met Gabriel, heard his messages, and found out that he is launching an incredible 5-week program called Inner Edge. I just needed to share this with you!
Gabe is a personal development coach & facilitator helping mission-driven humans live in alignment with their purpose. He left his tech sales job in 2018 to travel the world by bike, and in the process found his calling in coaching.
His approach to personal growth is rooted in neuroscience-based CoActive coaching techniques and Authentic Relating, with a heaping spoonful of Japanese philosophy on top. Gabe was born in Philadelphia and currently lives in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He's passionate about cycling, foraging wild mushrooms, social/climate justice, and the transformative power of psychedelics.
In this episode, Gabriel and I discuss:
Thank you so much for tuning in today. You can find Gabriel on Instagram @funngabe, visiting https://effectiveconnection.com/, and you can book an Insight Call with him at https://callwithgabe.as.me/insight!

This episode is for you if you have been sexually abused and want advice on how to move forward with your life. Last week I shared that I would be talking about sex, relationships, and dating after trauma. While I did plan to upload a solo episode, I ended up filming this episode with Liz from Resiliency In Running and thought it would fit in perfectly. I’ll still record a solo episode about this topic and release it soon.
Liz Newcomer is such a great person and friend. We connected almost a year ago through Podcorn where we collaborated and filmed an episode about forgiveness for her podcast show Resiliency In Running. She describes her show as “relationships, career, and all things running”. Liz has a really inspiring story of overcoming her coping mechanism of drinking and turning to running as her form of therapy. She is running the London marathon this year and honestly kudos to her! That’s so cool.
In this episode, Liz and I discuss:
Thank you so much for tuning in today. You can find Liz on Instagram @resiliencyinrunning, visiting www.resiliencyinrunning.com, and definitely tune in to her show on your favorite streaming platform!
In next week’s episode, I will discuss the importance of gratitude. Also just want to let you know that I’ve been really busy filming tons of interviews for you! I have probably about 2-3 months' worth of content now of just interviews alone.
It’s insane in the best way possible how things come along with consistent effort. It’s as if people just flock to me now. I love it and I love you. If you’re not yet, I would feel so happy if you subscribed to this podcast and followed me on Instagram @dearlovelyuniverse, it lets me know that you enjoy the content and helps me keep making more videos. Talk to you next week!
You may also apply for coaching at www.kaelinvu.com and I would be happy to see how I can help you! You can also get my free Ultimate Guide To Strengthening Your Self-Love After Trauma, an audio training program by signing up for my email list at my website.

This week on Dear Lovely Universe, I interviewed Molly Thomas from Clean Food Dirty Girl about her incredible journey from being an ex-smoker and ex-drinker to now owning her own 7 figure business helping people eat whole food plant-based diets. A few of the things we discuss are overcoming challenges, moving past the discomfort, and believing in yourself. She describes what she does as, “Helping people eat more plants while celebrating human imperfection”. Molly has been featured on Forks Over Knives, Huffpost, One Green Planet, and many more. After listening to her speak, it’s easy to see why. She really knows what she’s talking about. I believe that after listening to this episode, you will feel inspired and empowered to grow into the best version of yourself.
If you enjoyed this podcast episode, please like, subscribe, and share it with your friends and family! To find Molly, all of her social links are in the description below. Next week I’m going to upload a solo episode about sex, dating, and intimacy after trauma. You can listen to podcast episodes on Insight Timer now as well by searching my name Kaelin Vu.
Lastly, thank you so much for tuning in and if you haven’t yet you can follow me on Instagram @dearlovelyuniverse. Cheers to bigger and better things! Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Last week I said I would publish an episode about the three perceptions that will transform your life remarkably and while the content is amazing and I’ll share it with you soon, today I would like to share with you how I found my voice.
I feel that this is important because it is you, the listener, that keeps this show going and I want to nurture this relationship. It’s been two months now since I relaunched DLU for a second season and I have a few words to say about it.
Your voice matters. Let this be your permission slip to dive into your power.
As a coach, I would like to remind you to please remember to focus on uplifting your energy level. By raising your energy, many challenges begin to melt away.
Next week’s episode is about Embracing Life When It’s Hard Rather Than Running From The Pain with Molly Patrick from Clean Food Dirty Girl. You can follow me on Instagram @dearlovelyuniverse, email me at [email protected], and apply for coaching at kaelin.com/contact. Sending you lots of love and I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day.
This week on the Dear Lovely Universe Podcast, featured guest Megan Bauer and I discuss her wisdom and experience with living on after trauma, specifically focusing on healing from the death of a family member.
Megan Bauer coaches individuals, leaders and teams on how to lead more fulfilled and passionate careers and lives. Specifically, she helps professionals who feel stuck and unfilled move forward and create a life of their choosing and works with leaders and teams on how to show up with more energy and awareness in their roles and how to bring that out in their teammates.
Her background is in employee research and organizational psychology, leading global studies and instituting policy, program, tool and other changes for companies like Nike, Intel, Google and Adidas. She's been facilitating and running workshops for several years on the foundational coaching skills leaders can use with their teammates, the blockers to success, how to co-create a shared vision, goals, and action plan for teams, and brainstorming/ideation workshops for problem-solving.
She has a fun and interactive approach, while also being thoughtful, present and intentional in all that she does. She has her certified professional coach (CPC) designation through the International Coaching Federation.

This is a great episode for you if you are wanting to pursue or start something but aren’t sure if you should, if you’re dealing with depression, if you’re blaming others for problems in your life, if you care too much about what other people think, if you just need a little boost to get you going or to keep going, and more!
P.S. I had originally thought about naming this episode Go Outside And Smell The Roses but I think that this name is more fitting.
In this episode, I discuss:
How to not be the average person.
How your attitude affects your life.
“Problems” are self-created.
Feeling peace and happiness.
Being your own best supporter.
Fear and holding yourself back.
Caring about likes and shares.
Depression and unbalance.
Caring about what other people think.
Mustering up courage and strength to produce.
Accountability.
Indomitable will.
Words of wisdom and inspiration.
"Let me say this again for the people who need a reminder, YOU are worth it. YOU are deserving of all the beautiful and wonderful things that life has to offer. YOU can make a change, YOU just have to BELIEVE in yourself! Don’t settle for average, you are not destined to be average! You have a passion, a calling, a talent, or something that brings value into this world, please share it! I believe in you! Now, go do the thing that you’ve always wanted to do!"

Kate and Carola have 33 years of parenting in 3 countries with 7 children between them. On their podcast, they share stories and have conversations to empower mothers to feel great about themselves. This episode is ideal for mothers who desire to reconnect with themselves again and not feel guilty for it.
