  • 98. Let's Expand To Have A More Interesting Picture Of Success

I never really fit the mold of a " 7- figure business owner" or "successful coach." So since starting my business, I've gone through some massive identity crises. I think this very much comes with being an entrepreneur over time. You're evolving, changing, and growing.

This episode is about making more interesting millionaires and challenging your vision of success in the way that you are attempting to portray it.

    In this episode, we cover…

    • Owning and accepting your truth
    • How to embody your own version of success
    • Classic Millionaire statuses
    • A different viewpoint of what success is
    • How are you showing up to perform?

"So we say the right things, but behind closed doors, and maybe even subconsciously, we're not accepting and internalizing and owning the fuck out of this different version of success. We still want to fit in in some way. And that can cause a lot of inner turmoil that sometimes we recognize is going on, and sometimes we don't even realize consciously."

"A lot of entrepreneurs are chasing after authority market markers chasing after the money or chasing after more of the illusion of success and feeling success for yourself every day we are performing, and thus that is why many people are still not happy because you're not accepting and owning your truth,"

"Money only amplifies what already exists."

Thanks for listening, and if you like what you've heard, feel free to share this episode with your friends! There are so many amazing women waiting to discover the Laptop Lifestyle, and I'd love you to help me spread the word.

    Summary

Building momentum is all about taking small steps to move in the right direction. It's about starting with what you can do and then doing a little more each day. It might not seem like much at first, but if you keep at it, you'll eventually find that you're making real progress. Building anything, whether that be strength in your body, a business, a daily schedule, etc. takes time and effort, but it's so worth it when you hit milestones in your life. In this episode, I go over 8 key components that have personally helped me in my momentum building journey.

    Our Favorite Quotes

“Momentum doesn’t just happen, you have to be super intentional about building it.”

“The keys truly are pushing past the hard parts of exerting lots of energy in the beginning and seeing little results. The second key thing is being persistent in your actions.”

    • Identifying the blocks that contribute to a turmoil perspective
    • Managing emotions at hard times
    • How to refocus yourself
    • What pressures are you holding yourself to that you get to release?
    • Separating yourself from your business
    • Rapid Fire Questions

"The whole "Oh, I scaled, and I hit my first, you know, $200,000 month," that's fucking incredible. I want to be very clear, what I think is not incredible is how you beat yourself up when you feel like you're not hitting that each month. But it's looking at what you have to do to hit that $200,000? What did you have to do? And do you want to keep doing that? And if so, why?"

"So I think it's about allowing it to get quiet. I believe that so many of us struggle with the quiet. We're constantly scrolling because what would happen if I just allowed my thoughts to wander? Where would they go? What would I think about, and what would I worry about? Right? So a lot of entrepreneurs are worriers. And so it's beneficial to have an online business because you get to distract yourself from the truth."

  • Mini Moment Ep 87: Are you Assessing Risk from Only One Perspective?

In these "Mini Moments" we pull some of my favorite and most impactful mini lessons from past episodes of the Made for More Podcast to give you a quick digestible lesson in under 10 minutes. If you liked this mini moment, check out the rest of this full episode here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-laptop-lifestyle-podcast/id1529443551?i=1000558588676

Summary There are two big things that hold people back from getting what they want: priorities and assessment/fear of risk. We often tell ourselves we really want something but our actions say otherwise in that we are likely not truly prioritizing the actions needed to change. So they hard question becomes not just "how bad do you really want this?" but "how bad do you really want this in regards to what you will have to trade or sacrifice to prioritize and achieve that thing?" Lastly, we provide a new way to think about risk, because most people only think about risk from one side. Our Favorite Quotes

“Being decisive is one of the most successful traits of being a business owner.” If you want significant results, you've got to make big moves; risk-taking and taking action! No matter what level of entrepreneurship you're at, if you are a six-figure business owner or considering leaving your 9-5 job to start a business, you will be assessing the risk of what it takes to achieve your goals.

“We live in the emotion, we don’t dismantle this narrative that’s controlling us.”

  • 95. Life Update: Back to being a digital nomad. Now what?

As business owners, we find we are usually lacking a very key component in life: time. I found myself drifting into a sea of chaos and the one thing I knew I needed was a break.

Breaking away from your current reality to focus on your mental and physical well-being is completely acceptable. I've readjusted my priorities A LOT and did a lot of healing during this time - being stable was helpful and doctors were easy because they were familiar but insanely expensive! Today we are diving into the that sea of chaos and I’m sharing the tips I’ve learned during my 9 month break.

    In this episode, we cover…

    • How my 9 months in America went
    • Future plans and priortites
    • What defines the image of success?
    • Business changes, offers, and shifts continuing in 2023
    • My biggest takeaways from living back in America

“I really lost my identity, I was really struggling with mental and physical health and I got to this point where I was so freaking lost, we had hit 1 million dollars a couple months prior in 2021 in the business. It was exciting, but I just couldn’t keep going anymore.”

But it's like you do have to respond and listen, and you can have the perfect strategic game plan in place, like whatever you can have it all laid out. And then notice that no one is responding, even though you're doing all the work. You're doing the mindset work, and you're following the strategy. And it's like, Where are the people?
