Every time someone doesn't sign up with me, there is that thought in the back of my mind that wonders what the tipping point could have been?
I know that this is the same for most people, and as much as I love some buyers psych, I wanted to share a different perspective on this topic.
I have recently done market research and interviewed over 20 multi six and seven-figure entrepreneurs to discuss why they hired coaches, mentors and purchased specific courses from people. I also asked why they hired certain 'done for you' people for their team? And what those deciding factors were. In this episode, I share with you the most common responses for all of these subjects and give you some actionable steps on how to stand out and be the most employable person in your industry.
In this episode, we cover…
"One of the biggest things that people mentioned was if someone is hard to track down, if they're not getting a response, or if they get a candid response, it's not very personal, it feels like you're not very interested or invested in them, that hands down for both coaching and done for you investments was a thing that immediately turned people off."
"So when we talk about future you and lifestyle, what people said is when they were considering hiring a coach or mentor, they loved for some people, they love their business model in particular, it was a business coach, so AKA they were looking for maybe if you were hiring someone who ran a course heavy business, they really liked that they saw that as their future self, their future way of operating their future business model. And they were looking for a coach or mentor that had something specific."

I genuinely believe that many people have good intentions within this industry, so why have we gotten to this point where many people have lost trust in coaches, programs, and courses? Today, I intend to open up the conversation about having a bad experience with coaches or services providers who didn't meet expectations. I will discuss this from two perspectives, both as a seller and a buyer.
This is not a bitch fest but simply an open discussion that I hope will lead to improvement within the industry. I will reflect on three different areas; what's contributed to people getting burned, the impact this has had on the industry, and what we need to do to move forward.
In this episode, we cover…
I'm not claiming I'm perfect. But from day one, I will say on this point alone. Everywhere I've like traveled, I've tried to make an effort to meet people in this space. Like I don't see myself as better than any single one of my clients because I've made more money."
"This space has grown bigger, I mean, like more people than ever before. And faster than ever before, I would say, especially in the past year. There is still plenty of room. I genuinely believe this is only the beginning. But I also think that this like fast, and mass amount of growth has contributed to people getting burned specifically, you know, whether out of good or bad intentions, there became more and more marketing more and more noise, making it like harder in a process to distinguish the difference among everyone in the space that you may be as a consumer are considering hiring."

No matter what your business is, sales is most likely one of the essential parts of your business. For any business owner, to make money, you're going to need to learn how to sell, and yet alot of people tend to find sales and launching stressful. Well, Today's guest is here to change your sales perspective, so you can feel energized and excited to sell out your launches.
Rachel Spencer is a 7-figure Business Coach and Strategist living in NYC. She's a bonafide Big Dick Energy Queen who helps her clients break the business rules and scale to $100K+ THEIR way. In this episode, we talk about how to really break the rules in business, how to think outside the box, become more innovative, and most of all, how to have fun when you're selling things in your industry.
In this episode, we cover…
"I think whenever people hear about these new and innovative ways of launching or selling, and they automatically want to copy it. And I don't think it comes from a malicious place. It sounds fun, and you want to do the same thing. But that's not what innovation is, right?"
"I would say if you are someone who wants to get more innovative and do your own thing. I think it comes down to a mindset thing - not being afraid to stand out, but also not being afraid of failure, because guess what, it might not work"
"You have to go into your future launches, being willing to just like, you know, either have a smash hit or have a fail and be okay with that knowing that like at least I tried. So I think that that's like not being afraid of failure. Not being afraid to like, stand out and do something that nobody else has done and just being like, Oh, well, I'm kind of on my own here. Like there's no handbook for this,"

Up until junior college, I had planned to get into the FBI. I had family relations within the FBI, and I had alot of interest in pursuing that as a potential Career Path. I was lucky enough to take a criminal science course in school. Over a matter of time, I did some training at FBI locations on negotiation, shooting, crime, scene Investigation, hostage situations, hostage negotiation, and more. Recently I have reflected on this, and it made me realize that alot of these skills have contributed to the success of my business, and that is what I want to talk about today.
In this episode, you're going to learn a couple of different perspectives, lessons, and parallels that I've been able to pull out and share with you that will be effective for marketing and sales within your business.
In this episode, we cover…
"Marketing is highlighting certain pieces of information to communicate effectively with other people to get them to see your perspective and take the action you want them to take."
"Obstacles are inevitable. So instead, prepare for obstacles potentially prepare for the worst-case scenario that you may encounter and then prepare for how you're going to overcome them."

No matter what stage of business you're at, you've probably at some point questioned yourself when there had been uncertainty around the outcomes of situations. You may have even observed and replicated the actions of others in your industry or have had times where you have had to lean into self-trust to make decisions.
Today I will be talking with Jen Hartmann, the CEO of a boutique marketing consultancy. Jen helps startups and global brands increase their visibility, boost website conversions and drive revenue through innovative marketing strategies! Over the past two years, Jen has run a coaching business, an agency, and an e-commerce Store. In this episode, we will be breaking down a bunch of these topics and discussing how they link up with good leadership.
In this episode, we cover…
"As an entrepreneur and as a leader, you have to take risks. The more risks you take, the more of a tolerance to risk you build, which makes you a much better leader over time. If you were so risk-averse, you are never going to be the best leader that you can possibly be."
"Being a great leader is knowing when to shut up and just letting people talk. It's being able to take a step back and close your mouth, let other people in the room contribute to the conversation, or learn how to ask great questions to pull the best out of the people around you."
"You don't always have to talk to fill a space in a room. You can let other people contribute. I think that's what makes a great leader. Also, feedback from your team or your clients is critical. Many people are afraid of that feedback because they're so afraid it will be negative, which then really hits you in the ego. But as a leader, if you're a great leader, you're open to feedback, and you're open to making changes based on feedback."

Welcome to the first little reveal of my new brand. If you're listening to this episode in real-time - over the next few weeks, you'll be seeing my current company grow and expand. The motto of my new brand is 'made for more,' and my word of the year is 'bigger.' I'm paralleling together this idea of deep knowing and craving more. I know every one of you has had a tipping point where you realized that you were 'made for more, and that is probably what led you to begin this entrepreneurial journey.
In this episode, I break down my ideas and theory behind the three puzzle pieces to achieve your 'made for more' life. I dive into my journey a little bit and share how I used these concepts to achieve the life I live today.
In this episode, we cover…
"I know that if I were to do a raise of hands, every single one of you would be like, how the hell did I even get sucked into this weird entrepreneur, space, and world? Like, how did I get here, there was a moment in time where you realized you were made for more, and it started at all, for every single one of us"
"I knew I was made for more, and I refuse to believe that what I had was it. I knew I had to jump in to see what was possible, to see what I was made of. I wanted to push the boundaries, push these edges to see what was more."
“ I want you to ask yourself, Where have I set limits for what's possible in my life? What do I believe? As of right now, in this moment, don't correct yourself but ask yourself, what do I believe as of right now is not possible for me?”

"being real means being vulnerable, and being able to show other people like, I am both very smart and completely lost most of the time. You know, I am both very professional and a mess. And so it's scary to let people see that slide. But like I said, the more you open up, and you show everybody that that is a real part of life, the more that they can relate to you and they relate to your brand, and your people come and find you because they trust you."
"I think like literally turning to the people around you, who know you like whether it's family, friends, even past clients and asking like, what they think of you, or what they first think of when they think of you and your brand, or your personality."
"I think just kind of taking a step back and being like, oh, like what could I show kind of behind the scenes or to my audience to get to know me a little bit more for me, and then you'll start to develop a brand kind of more naturally."

Typically when setting goals and visions for the new year, we, as humans, are naturally very idealistic. However, as the new year rolls in and we line up our highlighters and vision boards, it's only so long until we fall into old patterns and behaviors and learn that this is not enough to help you reach your goals. We need to acknowledge and address how we're spending our time and what needs to change or happen to get what we desire.
There are three critical parts to this episode. We cover what a life and business audit looks like, how to treat your business. Then I'll discuss recognizing your actions, behaviors, and decisions so you can truly understand who is making them (you may be surprised it's not you)
In this episode, we cover…
"As you reverse engineer with your goals and your vision for the new year, if you don't pay attention to how you're spending your time, the small habits and ways that you are spending your life, it doesn't matter what actions you did, it's going to be hard, they're not going to last, and they're most likely not going to achieve the outcome you want."
"It's not enough to help you reach your goals without acknowledging and addressing how we're spending our time and what needs to change or happen for us to get what we desire."

We've heard the basics of marketing to potential clients. When we start our business journey, we're taught to uncover and target pain points, and as great as this is, it can only get you so far. Uncovering and owning your brand story and messaging is a powerful way to set yourself apart from other businesses or brands.
Today's guest Jennifer Spivak is the CEO of an all-female Facebook and Instagram advertising agency called the ad girls. In today's episode, Jennifer shares a powerful story and so many tips on how you can own your brand story to be the standout person in your space and industry today. We also have some little side tangents for y'all on marketing, personal branding, and Facebook ads.
In this episode, we cover…
"If you were your business coach, right, and you are marketing to your audience's pain points. Aren't 1000 other business coaches also using those same pain points in their message? I'm not saying don't use it; I'm saying that that by itself is not enough to actually stand out in a consistently more crowded marketplace that will never be getting less crowded, only more crowded."
"Many years ago when I first started talking about my story, it wasn't like okay, I'm going to weave this into my brand story. It was like, I'm at the point in my healing process where I have to talk about this. I was doing everything I had to for myself and it almost naturally became this story that's so beautifully woven together.
"It's not like a competition to have this big story or something. It's so much about just uncovering yours, whatever it is, and like owning it."

After a couple of intense years involving travel bans, isolations, and everything in between, people are craving in-person connection more than ever! In 2022 we will see a lot more retreats involved in masterminds, offer suites and programs as entrepreneurs begin to jump on board this idea of infusing more in-person connection into their business and brand.
Today's episode is an enjoyable conversation with two special guests, Victoria Franca & Hannah Nieves, all about the nitty-gritty details of planning successful retreats. We discuss everything from the brainstorming process to pricing your retreat to creating a rejuvenating experience and environment right from the beginning.
In this episode, we cover…
"I think it comes down to the small details of when people actually come to the retreat itself. It's really this embodied experience. So whether you're doing this as a standalone retreat for your business or thinking about incorporating it into your mastermind, it's the embodiment thing that you're working on. for example, if it's business and wellness, it's infusing that into your mastermind. Maybe it's more along with the travel and adventure element as well. It's really I think, just defining what it means for your brand."
"I think if we think about luxury settings and luxury, hospitality, it starts from that moment you book the experience. So a retreat is not an event; it's an experience. It's really important that it starts the moment you sign up for it and that you are wowed by that initial moment."
