Many of you in my audience have been expressing feeling stuck in one way or another. All of us in this entrepreneur online space have also been experiencing many changes within the industry. Even if it's not that, this is a natural season of entrepreneurship, and sometimes it's a day, sometimes it's a week, sometimes it's months.
In this episode, we will talk about what it means to be stuck, what's happening with us in those times, and why and how many of us end up stuck. There are many different ways, so one of them will relate to you. And then lastly, we're going to talk about how to move out of being stuck. So if you're someone who's feeling pretty stuck in your business or just in one area of your business, you need to hear this episode.
In this episode, we cover…
"Sometimes, this is just a label for a period where not much is happening. It doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong or you're not capable of doing what you could do before."
"Many of us tend to freak out and feel like, " Oh my gosh, okay, I don't have the same momentum or sales as I was before, you know, so I must be stuck. And that almost creates the reality that didn't exist for you."
"The definition of stagnation is continuing to do the same things. And being very hesitant to change and essentially adapt as you go right."
"Comparison makes you feel stuck. It doesn't mean you are stuck."
"The mentality of being stuck is almost always what is fueling 99% of your stuckness. Right?"

Today's guest Ashley Pollard has over ten years of working experience in corporate in the cutthroat fashion industry in New York City. Now Ashley runs an agency that helps female-led businesses to grow to six and seven figures. She also has a wellness company and two podcasts.
In this episode, we chat all things productivity, growth, data-driven decisions, and, more importantly, some perspectives from outside the entrepreneurial bubble.
In this episode, we cover…
"I think entrepreneurs have so many ideas. And what I tried to do is say, what if you can only do one? Well, per quarter, right? So if you can only do four great ideas this year, that's cool. You can do other ones next year. It helps you prioritize what your ideas are."
"Now that I've run enough of these live launches, and I say three to four are the basement of the bare minimum, to average one and two are just like gathering information, but not reacting to it. Once you have that three or four times. Now I know okay, well, I want to make 50 grand from this launch, which means I have to have X amount of people sign up, which means I have to have X amount of people at the webinar, which means I have to tell this many people about it. Because my analytics have been, you know, pretty similar each time. I've now had a little bit more of a proven model where I can tweak and adapt and adjust. So that's even another thing that you could do is try one thing multiple times, and see if you're getting the same result with the same messaging and all of that kind of stuff."

Let's say you strip away all of the labels you use to describe yourself and that society uses to describe you... who are you? A substantial question to try to unpack, but we've got some excellent angles and perspectives.
Labels have alot of power over us, which we will be diving into in this episode. I want to discuss the importance of recognizing the labels we identify with, uncovering how this makes us feel, and how to rewire our thought patterns to release any potential negative blocks in our behavior that could be caused by how we identify with ourselves.
In this episode, we cover…
"Your identity is more so what you give yourself it is how you see yourself, And it's also more so who you are. Versus personality is more of how you portray yourself or live out your identities, it's how you behave, not always who you are. So when we label this, one of the easiest ways I've looked at this is identity is who you are, personality is what type of person you are or how you show yourself to the world. This is an important distinction to make because a lot of who we currently think we are, is just learned behavior."
"When we change our identity, it is guaranteed, and it is natural that your behaviors are going to change as well in accordance and in alignment with the identity that you're choosing."

With today's guest, we are diving into a little something else that I genuinely think is the ultimate superpower for you to tap into in literally every area of your business. Feelings are the basis of marketing, sales, and client delivery. Feelings are what magnetize your desires. Feelings will let you know if you are headed in the right direction.
Jackie Simek boldly believes that feelings are the pathway to your profits, inviting women to reclaim their wholeness and harness the innate power society conditioned them to repress. Jackie is a speaker, EFT practitioner, and mentor to women leaders who find themselves stuck in their heads. Her entrepreneurial clients go from running ~ $40k businesses that feel heavy and hard to leading multiple six-figure movements they love. In this episode, Jackie discusses how she helps women focus more on the feelings they are experiencing, the sense of day to day, how to tap into those feelings, and utilize these techniques.
In this episode, we cover…
"I can admit, like when I started my business, I had this 100% push, push, push energy. Then there started to become more conversations around, you know, burnout and everyone's like pushing themselves to this certain limit and strategy's not, you know, being necessarily like the secret in the vault that you need next on your Journey."
"Women are often told not to be emotional, don't let your feelings get involved with business. This conditioning has women not only denying so much of themselves. It is suppressing their superpower."

The way that people are buying and making purchasing decisions is changing. Not only is the entrepreneur bubble that we're in going through massive shifts, but overall, people are shifting how they are responding to marketing and sales tactics. We will unpack this with today's guest, who is an expert on revolutionizing how we treat marketing sales and money mindset, especially with my women entrepreneurs.
Melanie Aubert is a corporate dropout turned multi-seven figure CEO. Over the past three years, she has helped hundreds of women entrepreneurs rise to six- and seven-figure incomes by dismantling outdated marketing and sales tactics. Coining the phrase "where massive impact meets big checks," Melanie has introduced a uniquely feminine, soul-led approach to business.
In this episode, we cover…
"The new era of selling, and what I'm referring to when I say that is we've entered a phase in the digital space where we are now buying what we want and not what we need. This is why people don't invest in the fitness coach and buy the new iPhone, right? People will buy the $1,000 pair of sneakers and not pay their mortgage or rent. We go above and beyond when it comes to desire. Then we don't do the things that we need to do."
"When we're in a state of trying to recalibrate, relearn, grow and scale our business, we are gonna have moments of absolute fear where your brain will try to seek out and grab on to something predictable that from the past, like a failed launch, or, you know, someone calls you stupid, or whatever that thing is. We'll try to place that in the future to make it feel like it knows what to anticipate."

Once you've reached a particular phase in your business, the common question is, "If you had to start over, what would you do?"
I've been thinking lately about what I would do differently if I were to start my business again or If I was a student going through my LLB program. In this episode, I'm going to go down the list of all the different things that I kind of thought of what I would do differently, what I would do the same, then some things that are not necessarily bad or good that I did, but I think would need to be addressed differently.
In this episode, we cover…
"My number one focus would be building an audience. You can sit behind the scenes all day and perfect all of these things; you need to build foundations to scale the business, but I'm talking about, this is my day one that I'm talking to you about starting over on, and I would start building an audience."
"When many people hear my business story, they hear about my coaching business, and we grew, you know, to a million in two years and all this crazy stuff. We grew so fast. And then, when I talk about my design business, I was booked out in my first week of launching and made over 5k in my first month and continued to scale from there. It's all these sexy stories. But one of the bottom parts of the iceberg to those stories is that I had built a personal brand since the spring of 2008 very intentionally on Instagram."
"I had built a personal brand, where I showed up every day for an entire year before making a single dollar. Now that's because I wasn't trying to sell anything before. But it's also a huge reason I could sell things so fast because people knew and trusted me."

In this episode, I want to unpack what taking risks means, what safety means, and how you can completely reframe how you look at taking risks.
In this episode, we cover…
"When you're looking at your risk, you are most likely, in this example, only considering losing what we have now, which is the nine to five and the quote-unquote, stable income, right. But we're not considering the loss of what we could gain."
"You can always go back to where you are at now! You got here one way you can get here again, I didn't say it would be easy, but it is a possibility that exists in the universe."

'No matter where you've been, where your past has taken you, knowledge and experiences have shaped who you are and where you are today. They don't determine where you go next".
"Even if you have not necessarily been through some crazy shit, hopefully in life, we all struggle with confidence. We all struggle with self-doubt and impostor syndrome. And all of that gets amplified and brought up in entrepreneurship in a new way. Remembering your power of choice, tapping back into your voice and power is important in your success."
"It is my mission to help women go deep and understand the level of confidence that isn't only needed to build a business but to feel confident enough to leave bad situations to create your wealth. No one can ever take that away from you to go through the journey to create your happiness and your joy. So again, no one can take that away from you. And also to have this conversation in public."

You didn't start a business to learn Instagram hacks and tech tips. You created a company to build a life full of freedom and limitless potential - There came the point in your life where you just knew you were made for more.
We're back, and today I will be introducing you to the new brand and podcast! Formally known as 'Laptop Lifestyle Podcast, ' we have rebranded our company, vision, and podcast. This new rebrand is all about helping you tap into your own power to achieve the unthinkable in your life and business. In this episode, I will be discussing what to expect, the story behind our brand and why we decided to rebrand.
In this episode, we cover…
"We all want the same thing. We all want a made for more life! We all want that freedom. We all want that autonomy, that power of choice. I think that's where this evolution has come from my brand. It's not just the freedom to do whatever you want. It's truly that gut feeling, soul-enriching feeling in life that you get to create. After that moment in time, years, months, however long ago, you realize you were made for more, and now you realize I'm living it, right."
"When I think about the brand that I've created underneath my name, it's all been underneath Amanda Kolbye, the person and the personal brand. The more that we grew, especially the more that the program, laptop lifestyle boot camp, grew, the more I wanted to channel multiple voices. I felt like I had started to build, and I quite literally did build something that started to take a life and a life of its own. It was something people wanted to be a part of; it was something people wanted to represent. There is so much wealth and knowledge that I felt this was the next level; this was the next step to bringing this to a community brand. That's not always the right move for everyone in every brand. But it feels like the perfect move for where I want to take things."

There are many go-to people in every nook and cranny of a specific type of market; there is probably at least one 'go-to' person that comes to mind in the niche or industry that is relevant to you. Today we're going to be talking about a whole different way of standing out and how to position yourself and position your business as a high-level, high-ticket, go-to brand in your industry.
In this episode, I will discuss a bunch of different strategies that, when combined, will impress people at every stage and build that unwavering 'go-to person' brand reputation.
In this episode, we cover…
"There are many go-to people. Not everyone is a go-to person, right? There are many go-to people in every nook and cranny of a certain type of market that you have positioned yourself into and dominated. Still, I'm never going to compare a high-level luxury vibe designer to a designer that's known for like her playful template shop. And that's the corner of the market that she dominated. They can both be the go-to, but you have to decide intentionally how you're going to position yourself within the designer market, and then go and dominate that."
"No one is the go-to person that sits on the sidelines, and that sits on the bench, and that doesn't play, and that doesn't show up, right? The go-to person is visible. Everyone knows who they are. They're known for both their skill set and their execution in just this unmatched way that makes them, even when the competition knows about them.”
