  • 58. The courage problem in mental health. With Tiffany Wernher and Brian Cardoza and Henry Johnstone.

Welcome back Warriors! For day 3 of suicide prevention awareness. This episode I welcome two titans and veterans of the show. We have the incredible Tiffany Werhner and the mighty Brian Cardoza.

This show is all about having an empowering chat about Mental Health, masculinity and at this moment suicide in men. Together we are the strongest force for change.

Now some of you may disagree with what we are about to say, but my guests believe as I do that the dialogue around Mental Health needs to shift forward. Men are dying at an alarming rate, something somewhere isn't working.

This episode is all about the courage problem in Mental Health, and why calling people courageous for speaking out may be doing more harm than good. We touch upon trauma and abuse, depression and anxiety, suicide and suicide ideation. It may sound incongruous but we also share some laughs.

This is sensitive topic but, we need to start enquiring into what's not working so everyone of us can educate ourselves and make a difference

As ever I am here if you are struggling and need someone to reach out to. You are my brother and I see you! You need never apologise to me for feeling the way you do nor must you ever suffer in silence.

I've compiled a list below the details of numbers, emails, website, groups, charities that will all help you if you are struggling right. Just scroll down to find the. If you're scrolling through facebook and you're feeling alone come to the Men Helping Men Facebook group and I will welcome you in to our community and our brotherhood.

  • 57. Man Chat. You are not unforgivable. With Joel W Hawbaker and Henry Johnstone.

Welcome back Warriors for day 2 of suicide prevention awareness week. For everyday of this week I'm releasing a show in support of those who are struggling today. This show i welcome back Joel W Hawbaker. Where we chat about 9/11 anxiety, as it's the 9/11 anniversary today it felt appropriate that we cover some of wider after effects it had on our psyche. We chat about the church and the christian perspective of suicide.

    How does christianity approach it?

    Is it stigmatised?

How can you reach out or allow someone to reach in?

If your community isn't supporting you how can you find one that does?

How hope is going to keep you going when keeping going in the most painful thing to do.

  • 55. The Samurai Brotherhood. With Nick Sol

The Samurai Brotherhood, is a community for men created by men. The Samurai Brotherhood guides their members through the "14 point code" on how to live as consciously self aware men. Based on constructing value from Mythopoetic works they serve to move men forward toward embracing the responsibilities of being a modern man.

Why do men need this kind of guidance?

    What is a Mythopoetic approach?

How can men benefit from a brotherhood?

How can aggression be used to empower transition?

What makes responsibility and sacrifice such a cornerstone to mens development?

What is vulnerability and how can you use it with other men?

All these questions and more are answered in this episode of The Inner Warrior Reframing Masculinity Podcast.

  • 54. The Art Of fulfillment With Nathan Simmonds.

There is  a fulfilment void in our world, more often than not people will say they don’t feel fulfilled in what they do. We have all at some point felt it. The purposeless in our day to day the drudgery, the 9-5 slog only to look forward to happy hour on a Friday.

Escape, then back again into a life that neither serves or fulfils.

Nathan Simmonds has been helping men and women refine the art of finding true fulfilment, away from the 9-5 and into a life they only dreamed was possible.

In this episode we delve deep into the personal side of fulfilment how to access the fight inside you what actions you take today with the awareness we will share that will mean you can kick start you path from the darkness of the dull into the light of the truly extraordinary.

Hello Warriors! fighters for good, noble and honourable men and women. I recorded a show earlier today which will go out next week. MY guest and i spoke a lot about self harm. It occured to me that self harm isn't actually that well represented. Society is still pretty far behind in the challenging of the stigma around self harm. So with that in mind I recorded this short episode to share with you my realness, my honesty, openness around a subject that almost seems taboo.

  • 54. Addiction Recovery Through Conscious Connection. With Dheep Matharu

Recovery from addiction? Firstly is it possible? There are many schools of thought and practice when it comes to recovery. You may have heard of a higher power, or god mentioned if you've ever come across the anonymous rooms. On this episode we go one step further and delve deep into what an actual conscious connection with God is like and how it helped our guest in the most unexpected of ways through her recovery.

Think "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari".

We also delve deep into addiction as a spiritual illness, psychic corruption and why putting things down to 'being under the influence' alone may be leading us to miss out on a profound spiritual experience.
