Ephesians 4:1-6.

New life in Christ is to overflow into a life that lives for Christ. Once we are saved by grace we are to walk out that grace in a life of godliness empowered by the Spirit's strength. This results in a life that not only walks in a manner worthy of the gospel, but also maintains the unity of the Spirit and stands on the indestructible unity of our God.

Ephesians 3:14-21.

It could be argued this is one of the greatest prayers in the New Testament…a prayer for power and love. Strengthened by the Spirit's power. Being rooted and grounded in love for one another. Comprehending Christ's love with all the saints. Filled with all the fullness of God. This is what our Father is able to do; the Father to whom we pray!

Ephesians 3:1-13.

The gift of grace received is to also be the gift of grace given. As recipients of grace we steward the gift of grace by serving the gospel of grace to others. When we announce this good news we advance the eternal purpose of God’s multi-colored wisdom through the church.

Ephesians 2:11-22.

Grace to you not only results in peace from God but is also meant to result in peace with others. The cross of Jesus Christ not only kills our vertical hostility with God, but it also breaks down the dividing walls of hostility among humanity. May our great God of redemption display this hope we have in our unity and peace with one another!

Ephesians 1:11-14.

A marvelous inheritance in Christ. This is what we have, signed, sealed, and delivered by the Spirit. A glorious spiritual blessing to the praise of Gods glory!

Ephesians 1:7-10.

In Christ, we have received the spiritual blessing of redemption. Forgiveness of sin. Lavish grace. The promise that things in heaven and things on earth will be united, summed up, redeemed in Christ the cosmic King. Praise God!

Ephesians 1:3-6.

In Christ, we have the spiritual blessing of the Father's electing grace. Chosen for holiness. Predestined for adoption. All to the praise of God's glorious grace! Hallelujah!

Ephesians 1:1-2.

According to the purpose of His will God predestined us for adoption into His family. As God’s gospel people we have new life in Christ! And then, when God’s gospel people learn how to live out this new life in Christ we live in that sweet spot where gopsel belief results in gospel behavior. This is what Paul writes about in Ephesians. He writes so God’s new community will shine as a beacon of living hope as they visibly demonstrate the work of redemption which God has done in them.
