Full Hour | Today, Dom led off and spent a good majority of the show discussing the indictment of former President Donald Trump in relation to classified documents he refused to turn over after a subpoena. Dom makes sure to point out the precedent that something like this sets, explaining the paths that the Biden administration should’ve taken if they wanted the optics of this to come across as anything but a win for their opponent in Trump. Then, Dom offers another update on the Bud Light brand after the Dylan Mulvaney disaster, telling that Modelo has officially surpassed Bud Light, again explaining why he believes this to be a huge win for conservatives despite Anheuser-Busch owning both brands. Then, Dom and Dan get into an argument over the legend that is Wilt Chamberlain, with Dan explaining why he believes the mythical nature of his career is a bit overblown.
Then, Dom welcomes in Aaron Maté, contributor for RealClearInvestigations, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear about his great work diving into the Durham report. This week, Maté and RealClear found a major omission in John Durham’s Russiagate report, explaining that the report failed to address Hillary Clinton’s role in the foundation of the initial allegations of Russian interference in the Trump campaign and 2016 election. Maté tells what he’s discovered within the Durham Report itself, and suggests why Durham and other investigators may have turned a blind eye to this aspect of the story. Also, Maté comments on the Trump indictment, telling that although he is no Trump fan, even he can see the overreach and bias of something like this and the precedent that it sets.
