Guten tag vater, ich brauche ein Bier. Es ist Oktoberfest! Beergirl Melissa is joining das fest as we celebrate the beginning of Oktoberfest! We’re drinking all German-style beers, sharing Oktoberfest fun facts, doing some major day drinking, and finding out how drunk Wisconsin is.

Flex is drinking Phase Three Brewing’s Oktoberfest. Mel is sipping on Wallenpaupack Brewing’s Oktoberfest. And Greg is researching Heater Allen’s Marzen.

Mel shares the secret to getting kids out of your house (important for drinking time). Greg leaves a vacation early but finds a new spot to conduct research on the way back. The crew discusses the importance of not bringing crappy beer to festivals and the problem with good beer at dive bars. 

This week’s Ludicrous Libation Law comes from, you guessed it, Germany!

Milwaukee Brewing is being purchased by a brewery in Chicago. Wisconsinites drink a lot! Youngsters (of legal age) are buying beer for the artwork. The beer community has started “Drinking in Another State” to help the industry with reproductive care. It turns out that people are getting drunker earlier in the day. And Oktoberfest fun facts for the beginning of the festival!
