I needed a break from all the anger and had a laugh with NY based comic Chris Distefano. He is one of my favs from the NY scene. We always have great fun when we chat so I thought we would capture one for the podcast. We joke about whatever comes into our heads from the demonisation of Bill Gates to problems from before the pandemic that don't matter anymore. I also share my hate for the Chinese Government which has nothing to do with Coronavirus. After my chat with Chris I share some of my own thoughts about the various conspiracies that are rising at the moment and talk about the protests in Michigan.

On today's episode we chat with Dr. Julia Iafrate who has volunteered to work in the Emergency Dept. on NY Presbyterian Hospital during the covid crisis. She gives a great insight into what its like in the ER at this time. But first we start out with a good ole moan about Trump blaming everyone but himself.

I had never heard of John Prine, which may be a crime against music to some people. He died yesterday and from reading about him and listening to his music for the first time I was very moved to chat about the sadness of all this. I wasn't sure I should sit down and record but I am glad I did now.

Steve then tells the origin story about why he is afraid of cats which leads to some hilarious chats about pets in cafes, kids in cafes and general funny stuff.

Des is at it again, complaining about Trump. How could you not when during a global pandemic he is tweeting about the ratings of his press conferences. I start by chatting about pitbulls and rescuing one. I focus a lot on longing for a less divisive discourse in the media. Just a quick bonus ep to help you get through monday.

On today's ep Des and Steve chat about what isolation is teaching them about life. Of course they have a bit of a moan about Trump and try not to laugh about Boris because it is not funny. It is of course unlucky for Boris because he was so late to take it all seriously. We also chat about how great it is to have exercise routines online and how they are saving us. Des gives his few sense about how things are looking in NY and compares the international reaction to the local one.
