In today’s third hour, Dom continues the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the changing forecast in the Republican presidential primary. Dom tells that DeSantis and Trump are both employing separate strategies that he believes won’t work, first telling of a narrative presented by the DeSantis camp that Trump has not been strong enough on immigration. On the other side of the table, Trump is trying to propagate a narrative that DeSantis mishandled Coronavirus, which Dom believes voters will know to be disingenuous. Then, after playing Dom’s Money Melody, Dom returns to the topic of the Philadelphia pushback against Mothers for Liberty, explaining why he’s continually frustrated by the vocal political Left who refuse to set their priorities straight.
Then, Dom welcomes State Senator Cris Dush back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a vote that took place in Harrisburg today that verified Al Schmidt as Secretary of State in Pennsylvania. Schmidt has been a common topic on the Dom Giordano Program after putting up firewall after firewall during investigations into potential maleficence during the 2020 election. Giordano notes that while the vote didn’t go the way we had hoped, he explains his appreciation that Dush had the opportunity to question the nominee before the final vote. Sen. Dush explains pushback he’s received from Democrats in Harrisburg, but clarifies what and why he needed answers to certain aspects of Schmidt’s past. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
