We’re really feeling into some of that Arian energies as we head into Season 2 of the WitchHunt podcast!
Our first episode of the season is an interview with Dr. Angela Lauria, who’s recently taken on the Goddess name Kali, stepping fully into her embodiment of the Goddess’ energy, as she embraces a radical identity shift.
Dr. Angela Lauria is an incredible woman and mother and entrepreneur, who I met in person at the StarBucks next to our kids’ school in Washington D.C. many moons ago. She is founder of The Author Incubator™ and creator of the Difference Process™ for writing a book that matters. I’ve watched Angela evolve into a successful 7-figure, then 8-figure entrepreneur and activist over the years. I was most blown away, though, by her most recent pandemic-induced transformation, which led her to establish the Socially Responsible Coaching Alliance — for coaches, consultants, authors, and speakers who want to create a more equitable society by building sustainable businesses that promote environmental, economic, and social justice.
One of the reasons I wanted Angela on the podcast was to share the Alliance’s new mission. And when I reached out to her, I had no idea of the personal transformation and rebirth that came along with this endeavour.
I was blown away!
In this episode we talk about evolutionary shifts of masculine and feminine energies in our lives and businesses, and the synonymous call to shift away from polarized black and white thinking towards the messy and unknown navigation of the grey that lies in-between. We talk about mind and heart coherence and how we’re witnessing souls (vs brains) taking stronger roles in decision-making.
Angela shares so much wisdom. She tells us how she honors destruction as part of the creation process and, related, how she stopped feeling like her own name and sought astrological and numerological guidance in her rebirth and renaming experience — taking on Kali, Hindu Goddess of Destruction, as part of her official identity. She shares her embrace of imperfection, and her be-do-be-do dance. Or, in other words, the importance of BEING who we want to become and not only doing what we need to do as a means of manifesting magic and creating miracles, two concepts, which she differentiates in detail. Angela also shares her struggle with depression, anti-depression medication and how in the end one simple, free, non-medicated, Earth-born ritual that anyone can tune into every single day cured her depression in the end — you’ll have to listen to the episode to learn her secret.
