Prosecutors contend that the defense's request is a strategic attempt to delay proceedings, emphasizing that the trial schedule should remain unchanged. Judge Arun Subramanian has expressed a commitment to maintaining the trial timeline, likening the case's progression to a "freight train moving toward trial."
