Terese also owns a nutrition consulting company, MySurgeryPlate LLC, to audit, educate and consult on effective and compliant malnutrition documentation, consult on malnutrition informatics, and teach handgrip strength examination and documentation for malnutrition, sarcopenia, and frailty, to promote program development surrounding nutrition in preparation for and recovery from major surgery.
