Building a digital footprint involves the use of tags:
· Header tag donated by the code (H1)
Is shown in the browser’s title bar and displays a preview of the title content just as it would appear on your website in the search engine results. It helps if each page on your site contains a unique title but keep it brief — less than 65 characters including spaces.
It’s a must for every page on your site and should include the keyword for that page. Note to note: Limit this tag to less than 150 characters.
And the final tag is, the Header in HML language it is donated by the mark up language (H1) tag
Each page on your website should include only one H1 tag. Keep the header tag short and be sure to include the page’s target keyword.
A relevant keyword helps online users find your site if they search for it using a search engine.
Your keywords should represent what you do, your location, the services you offer, your products, and your industry.
Use them in your website’s content, page titles and image names. Use each word or word combination, as well as their variations, at least two to three times per page.
Overusing, or “stuffing,” your keywords will harm your site’s ranking. Search engines will penalize you if your content has an excessive number of keywords, so don’t overdo it
1. Align the page’s target keyword to the image file name. For example, “red-therapeutic-shoes.jpg.” Always use lowercase and separate each word with a hyphen.
2. Use and optimize the Image ALT Text attribution, using target keyword. For our example, the Image ALT Text should be “Red Therapeutic Shoes.” Uppercase, no hyphens.
3. Make sure the page text corresponds to the image file name and Image ALT Text.
Here is another Tip: Making your image file size smaller so it loads faster can also help your search rankings.
