Films are a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death except us. We end this year's holiday movie marathon by eating caviar with salmon spread and crackers, shrimp cocktail, and champagne (actually it was Prosecco) before we talk about Auntie Mame. Just like Mame, we've had our ups and downs but we always manage to come out on top. We hope you have a happy little ol' New Year and that you all Live, Live, Live!

This week, we continue our holiday celebration and eat roast beast (chicken), pudding, bananas, onions, and eggnog. We pause for Blake to unload everything he ate and then discuss the live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We agree that Jim Carey is the perfect Grinch and that Max is the best dog actor ever. Brandon thinks Jim Carey is wasted on his over-the-top performances, Jose leads us on an exploration of multiple Whoville snowflake universe theory, and Blake believes that the Whos deserve to have their Christmas taken away by Mr. Grinch because they’re annoyingly punchable. We begin our holiday season by eating salmon, cookies, and berries before we discuss Klaus. If you start watching the film and don't like the main character, wait for Margu. We all agree that she raises the film to another level just like a magical reindeer. Although the story could have a little more of the title character, this Santa Claus origin story is a good addition to your holiday season movie lineup

We trade in our darkened hearts for new models this week and eat barbequed burnt ends, mashed potatoes, and pizza with only the sauce before we watch Vice. Christian Bale delivers another outstanding performance, this time as republican icon Dick Cheney. This one may get a little political, but everything’s fair in love and war.

There’s an electrifying show this week when we get amped up on sushi and donuts and discuss the shocking film Crank 2: High Voltage. This film could be a masterpiece or a major disaster and we waste a lot of energy deciding which it is. Plug in, power up your device, and get your heart racing for an invigorating or at least mildly irritating experience.

We get all sugared up by eating and drinking cake, ice cream, cappuccino, and Coke before we dance with the devil and discuss The Omen. We would have liked a five-year-old superhuman battle between Jesus and Damien, but we weren't disappointed by great crunchy deaths. If Pop-Pop is listening, we're very happy you've joined us and you can forward to about twenty-five minutes in and not be bothered by our incessant opening shenanigans.

This week, we punch up some bloody good commentary about Rocky after we eat turkey, tomato soup, an apple, and a raw egg. This love story really packs a punch, but Rocky takes it all in stride while dealing with jabs from Paulie, Mickey, and Buddy. Rocky may lose the fight, but to us, he’ll always be a winner, even if he is a little forceful with the ladies. Yo, Adrian!

We go back to the beginning or maybe the middle before coming back to the present to eat Thai food and present The Time Traveler’s Wife. We try to decide what we would do with our time if we could time travel. Would we change the past or future, win the lottery, or have some sexy time with ourselves?

This week we continue to thrill down in our bunker with another scary film. We eat spaghetti, goldfish crackers, ice cream cones, and orange soda before we discuss 10 Cloverfield Lane. Do Martians and Russians walk amongst us? What would you do if there was a nuclear chemical alien attack? We don’t really answer these questions, but we do know that surprises await us once we come out of our bunker.

Take a ride with us to the Overlook Hotel and eat PB&J sandwiches, fries with ketchup, chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, and 7-Up before we discuss The Shining with our good friend  Kyle. What is the meaning of everything Kubrick put in this movie? We aren’t sure we know, but it’s fun to talk about all the same. What we do know is that if you’re watching just the surface of this film like Blake, you’re a dummy.
