The first batch of migrants was bused to a makeshift tent city in Brooklyn on Sunday and took one look and were ready to leave. The controversial tent shelter at Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field, which has drawn widespread criticism for its remote location, among many other concerns.  Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is polling higher than any independent or third-party candidate in a generation. Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is going to need help from House Democrats to pass his 2-step plan for averting a government shutdown this week. Johnson is facing the first big legislative test of his speakership as the deadline to fund the federal government, Nov. 17, rapidly approaches.
