Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we kicked off week two of our theme, "Overcoming", based on the story of Joseph, and we discussed disappointment.  The scripture reference was Genesis 49 and 40.  Joseph is undeservedly thrown into prison and forgotten for two years.  There are many aspects of Joseph's life where disappointment could have taken over his faith and hope.  Disappointment is part of the spiritual life.  What has God taught you through a season of disappointment?  Don't let disappointment keep you from expecting that God will do something.  Finally, this is week 8 of our Summer of Ten Bible memorization campaign.  The verse is I Peter 5:6-7.  Hear the highlights of today's program by listening to the Karl and Crew Showcast.
