What does it look like to conform into the image of Christ? This week, Brian Barr closed out our Conform series by looking at the primary marker of a life transformed by Jesus - our love for others. Our culture has defined love as self-centered and self-gratifying. But the love of God is sacrificial and living for the benefit of others. God’s love is powerful! The instruction for followers of Jesus, who have experienced first-hand the love of the Father, is to take this sacrificial, servant hearted love to the people around us. It’s in fact, the primary way God intends the Gospel to spread through the world! God calls us to a mission that is worth everything we are and everything we have! And it will only be accomplished through wholehearted, followers of Jesus who have been conformed into the image of Christ and known for their love for others.
