Good Storyline

This kept my interest quite nicely. I loved the storyline. However, there were a few typographical errors and the book ended abruptly. I do hope more will come out soon so I can find out what happened!

Sweet book and can't wait to read the next one. An angel gone rogue and in love with a wronged reaper.

Most Excellent Read!!!!

This is my first book by Rebekah Ganiere. She did an awesome job on her story-line and plot. With each chapter you could see both of the characters build and the plot thicken. Everything becoming more complex.

Rose died in the arms of her personal Angle. As she was passing another Angle took his attention. At that moment Lucifer stole her soul and sweet talked her and she agreed so he made her a reaper.

Rose was not happy when she realized she'd been tricked. Rose's angle, Gabriel has continued to keep an eye on her for he loved her. Gabriel was unaware that Rose would be in the grave yard the same night he visited her grave.

I really like the story-line Rebekah has written. There are so many different spins running from the center. It keeps me on my toes trying to figure out what Rose has going on now and what had gone on before she died.

Lucifer is constantly on Rose's back about bringing Gabriel into him. If she doesn't Lucifer will make her his wife forever. And if she does he will set her free. But Rose can't turn Gabriel over and she's not sure why.

Pick up a copy if you want to know why and all that's hidden. You'll be glad you did.

i like this book****

It was such a good book that I couldn't put down. I wondered what would happen next although I thought that I might actually know. The stories and characters are great! I'm all for short stories but these almost feel like cliff hangers the way they get you really into the story line and characters then in one paragraph WHAM they end the story. . Then when those much-awaited scenes hit, it was brilliant. Loved the writing from start to finish and the second story was good too! Its been awhile since I have read a novel like this one and I must say it was like a breath of fresh air. Definitely a great read

What??

Are those other reviewers being payed, or are they relatives? Because I just don't get it. This story is bad. Her character is an idiot, and he's creepy. I admit I did not finish it, so maybe it got better- but I doubt it. She is so stupid- night patrons of her restaurant are being murdered regularly and she does not close down? Instead she follows the one, creepy, pale stranger who shows up, AND goes to his derelict house at night? What?! It's like she's begging to be offed. Oh, and the story is very short, and the rest is translations. Seriously, I think the other reviewers are being held ransom, or something.

Very developed story of the demon of the bride... Loving the plot, it is really close to me as it has interesting twists (the ones that I will not spoil) that excite me.

This is the first time that I have read a book written by Riley Forrest and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the book was written and although it is a quick (short) read I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This story covers, Lexi Jagurt, a feisty half demon and human who unbeknown to anyone is also a witch that can control fire. Her father, Kai Jagurt a full demon arranged a challenge match for her hand (last one standing wins her hand) and Asgard Polini, a full demon and top fighter who is captain of the guard for Kai. What you will find in this story is, a feisty angry woman, a determined demon, drama, suspense, emotional feelings, temper, disbelief, a challenge/fight, going to mothers old friend, winning the challenge, looking for Lexi, negotiation for 3 dates, a kiss, being confused, appearing fully human, going on a date/picnic, meeting a hell-hound, going for a swim, home, kissing then walking away and a erotic scene. I found the story-line well thought out and written and the scene description is excellent. The characters have personality with feelings of anger, desire, confusion and lust. This book ends in a cliffhanger but has really caught my attention and I look forward to more from this talented author and I would recommend this book.

Surprisingly Interesting

I don't usually read Paranormal books but I did enjoy this quick read. In short it's about a daughter who goes against her father, a demon who wants her and how he goes about trying to win her. Try it.

Characters are easy to like and have great chemistry. Heroine is a bit stubborn but fierce and the hero is...well...what to say? It crossed my mind to wish to had that kind attention when I was courted :-)

Romance part of this book is hot and very well writen, just enough details to be looking forward for the next book in series.

I loved this book! The ending was perfect, not rushed or to drawn out. I really hope to see more of Narah, Aeslin and Matthew. I hope there is a story for Edan, Rio and Murphy too. Looking forward to more stories from this universe!

And I've chosen. I've chosen them. Well, there's no Brief-Bites about it! This is one Top Nosh, I mean Notch Vampire Series!! And WOOOWEEEE!! Now THIS is an ending!! Well actually a "soft" ending since Tamara has written more, but this serial part does end. I could feel the intensity amping up throughout each part, but I NEVER thought it would all lead to the horrors it did! Thankfully this story is about so much more than that, that the sum of its parts lead to unimaginable pleasure & one FANGASMIC ending to melt the hardest of hearts! *cough Aeslin cough* wink I have read a LOT of vampire books in my time, more than 30 years of devouring any kind of vampire book out there, from horror to erotica and most everything in between - and I have NEVER EVER read any other book that could possibly, even remotely, come close to comparing to all of the FANGLICIOUSNESS you will find inside this VAMPTACULAR Vampire Alpha Claim Series!!! I LOVE Tamara's writing style, her brand of storytelling! It's darker, edgier, insightful yet makes you think, with an almost poetic, mesmerizing vibe to it. Seductive, Devouring with A Twist Of Vengence

Since the Token Series where Tamara Rose Blodgett wrote under her other famous author name Marata Eros, have I practically torn through a series so fast and then practically counted down the days until my pre-order Vampire (Alpha Claim 6) hit the library of my Kindle so that I could devour it as well, and devour it I did.

If the Vampire Alpha Claim Series as a whole could be summed up easily into words then my job would be easier than you think but trying to keep my thought and words PG rated to a certain extent is very difficult when it comes to the lives of Narah (love that name!), Aeslin and Matthews.

Enjoyable Story !!!

Cally Sholes had come into her witch powers at the age of 16. Her gift was the ability to wish things into existence. That day, she was going to get her driverâs license. She was prepared, but the excitement kept her from sleeping. She got up in the darkness and hurried down the stairs â but her brother had left his skates in the middle of the steps and her foot went right down on them. Knowing what was coming, she wished she could just fly over the skates and land gracefully at the bottom. Thatâs indeed where and how she landed! She tried wishing other things, and whatever she wanted happened!

When her parents woke, they told her about their heritage â however, she was the only living witch with powers in the family line right now. Callyâs power was getting harder to control and she found that it had some unintended consequences. So for everyoneâs safety, she tried to avoid using it, and swore to never use it at all to make someone do something.

Enjoyable feel-food paranormal fantasy romance with Greek gods and goddesses

I thoroughly enjoyed "Downcast" by Cait Reynolds.

I admit that my preferred genre of books may sometimes be considered shallow, as I am over 50 but still love paranormal romantic suspense novels such as these. Before I wrote my review, I read some others who somewhat criticized how the book paralleled "Twilight" in some ways. Personally, I can't criticize a book for that because I loved the Twilight saga. Yes, some of the things I loved about Twilight I also found in this book, but I believe the target audience that likes those sort of books will enjoy the similarities. Plus, I found the story to be different enough, and well-developed enough to be thoroughly enjoyable. I thought Ms. Reynolds did a great job of recreating this Greek myth in an enjoyable, timely way. I have read many lame knock-off Twilight and vampire books that I didn't find worth reading. I didn't find that here. Just a feel-good paranormal romance with likable characters.

I liked the character development in the story, and how the characters thoroughly enjoy their mortal bodies. I could totally relate to the struggles between Stephanie and her mother, and I liked how the author tied that in to the story. I found both Haley and Zack to be charming, adorable, heroic and swoonworthy. I also loved the other characters, including Stephanie of course, as well as Helen and Morris.

I loved how the story also showed victory over struggles for many of the characters.

In some instances, I think the book could have used a bit more editing, where some adjectives were overused for Haley, etc., but it didn't detract from the story for me.

Overall, I must say, "Well done, Cait Reynolds. I look forward to reading your future books."

A Greek myth played out with a fun arc

I wavered between 4 and 5 stars as this book wasn't something I usually read. I'm more into the angst riddled, borderline psychotic paranormal. Kissing Demons was a surprisingly sweet tale considering it dealt with demons, werewolves and Guardians who fight evil.

Geneva, thankfully, wasn't a TSTL heroine. She was smart, tough and willing to kick ass when needed. Yet she didn't fall into the trap of smart ass bitch to get her point across. A strong woman and one I quite liked.

Alex, sadly, we didn't get to see much of him as it is first person POV. And for part of the book, they were apart. I would've liked some more interaction between them. I'm a sucker for werewolves. ;)

I've been lucky enough to read a few snippets from the second book in this series and all I can say is "Yes, please, give me!"

This could very well be the next Epic Series in Paranormal Romance!!!

This story not only had all the paranormal aspects for a great story, but the characters are well developed and the plot is plausible in the world created by Jen Winters. I love nothing more that a Fiction read that incorporates History accurately. This story does just that.

This section of the story was only just okay. Hopefully the next part will be better.

I like this one

This story was actually more story than sex. Blair thought she was hiding her identity while falling in love with the son of the man she was investigating. Although she is CIA she does not make it realistic. Alexi spotted her from his window and knew who she was but fell in love with her still. This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an unbiased review. I can't wait to find out the next chapter. I still hate a series that leaves you hanging waiting on the author to complete the next chapter in the book. I almost have to go back and listen to each of the previous books to get caught up. this takes away from time I could be listening to other books. There are already too many books and too little time to get them all done. I love reading and even more listening to the books that are being generated.

Part 2 was full of action and pretty good.

I was given this book in return for my honest unbiased opinion. I enjoyed this book. The action is good and overall a pretty good short shifter book.
