Truly bewitching!

I received a free copy of this book from AXP Read and Review Books. I voluntarily chose to review; this is my honest review.

This book is delightful! I am very happy I have a grandchild to share this with, and soon. It is imaginative, funny, and well-written. What fun it will be to experience it with her!

I enjoyed the story myself. It has lots of places for drama, questions, and discussions we can share. It has life lessons within it, too. Be on the lookout for those in order to underscore your own values. Most of all, it had me smiling when it was over.

This will be a story any child will ask for again and again. 5 stars and a hearty recommendation for parents and children!

Delightful and Nostalgic!

Fantastic! I read primarily Literary fiction and downloaded this out of curiosity. I was laughing so hard, I almost injured myself on my treadmill. It is delightful, like a fresh cupcake with sprinkles. If your children enjoy fairy tales, this is a must read. Some of the dialogue was so funny. The narrator talking to the reader was not distracting. It gave a nostalgic, warm feeling. Cannot say enough how much fun this is!

Cute, Quirky and Humorous!

The Witch with The Glitch centers on three friends - Ivy, Oswald and Nina - who help out in a bookstore owned by Ninaâs aunt and uncle. The friends cut corners when tidying up so they have plenty of time to go on adventures. In this particular adventure they meet a witch who lives in a gingerbread house and turns the trio into a werewolf, a ghost and a vampire. They must find the mysterious Izzy before midnight or theyâll remain little monsters forever.

This was a quirky, humorous childrenâs chapter book. Itâs only 69 pages, but the author includes a great deal of action-packed adventure for young readers. Thereâs a nod to Dracula, Hansel and Gretel and even Ghost Busters that may or may not go over a youngsterâs head. The author inserts some personal commentary here and there throughout the book that some readers might find distracting, but I felt it went along with the bookâs quirkiness.

As a booklover, I appreciated the idea of a group of friends working in a bookstore and getting caught up in book-related adventures. This is certainly a unique and unusual childrenâs book that I think is worth reading!

Three special friends have adventures.

Simply a delightful read. Three young people go on adventures, solve conundrums and save themselves along the way. Fun, creative and very imaginative. A witch that is not what she seems, three young people who love to explore and are not easily deceived or scared and a plot with a few nice twists. Some humor and light-hearted fun too.

Fun holiday read aloud

My boys ages 7 and 10 really enjoyed this book.

I am pleased my son was enjoying reading and he met his accelerated reader goal!

My kids are crazy for Minecraft and after Sean Fay Wolfe came to my 11 year old son's school he was very interested in reading these books.

My 11 year old son is not a big fan of reading. It's a constant battle and since the schools have made reading a part of the grading rubric, it's a mandatory activity.

This is the first book since my son was very little he has actually asked to buy and read from beginning to end in 3 days.

In my son's words the book is about a mysterious figure entering the Minecraft game. There is a secret alliance that is taking energy off of other servers in the game. A group of people have to stop the secret alliance.

I am pleased my son was enjoying reading and he met his accelerated reader goal!

The villain falls in love with Kat

Hi I am Catherine Catterton. I am 13 years old and have read all your books. I have a few ideas to share with you. I was thinking about a new villain for a new book. The villain would be stuck in a mirror. The mirror breaks during the fight Stan and Lord Tenebris had. The villain escapes into a different server to hide to make sure he doesn't get trapped into the mirror again. He was in a group of players in knights skins and was banished because he tried to take over all severs with his powers. Excellent

I had read this years ago. Some things simply pass " The test of time". This is such a book. Great for children, enjoyable for the adult that has read it already.

Read like a book for the blind

This book is a wonderful classic. This rendition was so disappointing! A terrible , almost incomprehensible, monosyllabic reader plods through the story. It made it absolutely impossible to listen.

This is a favourite childhood story of mine and I enjoyed listening to the audio. The only criticism I have is that they gave an overview of the story BEFORE the narration began, essentially telling you exactly what the storyline was and how it ended before it even started. That's ok if you're already familiar with the tale but not if it's the first time you're experiencing the story. For this reason I deducted a star from the overall rating.

New fantasy series!

Linda Sue Park has been writing wonderful books for a long time and this one will rank among her best. Forest of Wonders is a fabulous mix of fantasy, magic, and adventure. Main character Raffa is a gifted apothecary who is far exceeding his father's skill due to a heavy dose of magical ability that is only beginning to develop. That bit of magic leads him to major mishaps as well as opens doors to opportunity the likes of which his poor family has never seen. Along the way, Raffa makes, loses and refinds friends and friendships and they all work together to save the creatures of the Forest of Wonders that he loves. This librarian would highly recommend the Wing & Claw series to readers of fantasy in grades 4-8, although the length and reading level may be off-putting for the younger in that group.

Really great book. It is filled with wonder awe of the connection between animals and humans. Also the possibility of an animal

The bat Echo is a main character along with 2 boys and 2 girls. They are teenagers who are making choices about how they want to live. How they wish to treat their animal friends. There are good folks and awful ones. The two side become thrown into an epic battle which at the end of this book you need to read the next book to find out how it will end. I choose to read on!

Great book!

My son and I love this book! We read it when he was seven. We can't wait for the second in the series to come out!

A nicely imagined world

The book moves quickly, and the boy protagonist is easy to identify with. His talking bat adds a nice touch, but after a bit there are just too many humanized animals to allow for much development of the human characters. Overall the book was fun but too obviously a teaser for additional books in the series.

No middle. No ending. All set-up.

Which is how I feel: set up. I just paid the price of a full book for what I feel was a cursory introduction to the story, not the story itself. To me, that breaks the covenant between writer and reader.

Wonderful book in a great series

This Is a Wonderful Series!

I discovered this series of books at the library." Dear Pen Pal" was the first one that I read (it's actually third in the series), and I was hooked! I could hardly wait to read the others, because references were made about events from the first two books in "Pen Pal". I've now read all five, including "Home for the Holidays". This is a great series of books, especially for this day and time. There are no instances of smoking, drinking, or sex. The characters have crushes, and an occasional kiss, but that's as far as it goes.(Very unusual for recently written books!) The characters are modern teenagers who all have endearing as well as annoying qualities. Their personalities and interests are varied, but they are still friends and share the common bond of being in the book club with their moms. I especially liked how the moms and grandmoms that were in the club were involved with and cared about all of the girls, not just their own offspring.

I think this series would appeal to readers of the Baby-Sitter Club books. Girls who have enjoyed those books but are ready for a more challenging reading level would find "The Mother-Daughter Book Club" to be very interesting and easy to relate to, in my opinion. Hopefully, girls will be also be inspired to read or re-read books by Alcott, Austen, Montgomery and Lovelace, and perhaps even begin their own clubs. Thanks to Ms.

VERY disappointed | Not Original Recording

This isn't the same recording I've known so well. very sad about it. the recordings are crap compared to the original. Load the originals with the familiar and good voice acting.

This story was every samlier to the real book some words were changed
