This book is delightful! I am very happy I have a grandchild to share this with, and soon. It is imaginative, funny, and well-written. What fun it will be to experience it with her!
I enjoyed the story myself. It has lots of places for drama, questions, and discussions we can share. It has life lessons within it, too. Be on the lookout for those in order to underscore your own values. Most of all, it had me smiling when it was over.
This will be a story any child will ask for again and again. 5 stars and a hearty recommendation for parents and children!
Delightful and Nostalgic!
Fantastic! I read primarily Literary fiction and downloaded this out of curiosity. I was laughing so hard, I almost injured myself on my treadmill. It is delightful, like a fresh cupcake with sprinkles. If your children enjoy fairy tales, this is a must read. Some of the dialogue was so funny. The narrator talking to the reader was not distracting. It gave a nostalgic, warm feeling. Cannot say enough how much fun this is!
Cute, Quirky and Humorous!
The Witch with The Glitch centers on three friends - Ivy, Oswald and Nina - who help out in a bookstore owned by Ninaâs aunt and uncle. The friends cut corners when tidying up so they have plenty of time to go on adventures. In this particular adventure they meet a witch who lives in a gingerbread house and turns the trio into a werewolf, a ghost and a vampire. They must find the mysterious Izzy before midnight or theyâll remain little monsters forever.
This was a quirky, humorous childrenâs chapter book. Itâs only 69 pages, but the author includes a great deal of action-packed adventure for young readers. Thereâs a nod to Dracula, Hansel and Gretel and even Ghost Busters that may or may not go over a youngsterâs head. The author inserts some personal commentary here and there throughout the book that some readers might find distracting, but I felt it went along with the bookâs quirkiness.
As a booklover, I appreciated the idea of a group of friends working in a bookstore and getting caught up in book-related adventures. This is certainly a unique and unusual childrenâs book that I think is worth reading!
Three special friends have adventures.
Simply a delightful read. Three young people go on adventures, solve conundrums and save themselves along the way. Fun, creative and very imaginative. A witch that is not what she seems, three young people who love to explore and are not easily deceived or scared and a plot with a few nice twists. Some humor and light-hearted fun too.

My boys ages 7 and 10 really enjoyed this book.
