    Publisher's Summary:
When Lily Sanderson decided to remain Crown Princess Waterlily of the mer kingdom of Thalassinia, she knew she couldn't just coast along in the current. But since she's spent the last couple of years on land, Lily's not sure she has the fins to lead a kingdom. Even her maddeningly pretentious cousin Dosinia seems to know more about ruling than she does.
But Lily has to dive in deep to keep her promise to Tellin, her mer bond in name only, who tells her his kingdom is suffering in the changing ocean climate. Lily knows this is a seven seas-sized problem. They'll need to create some serious waves to make the mer community aware and get it to join together to make things right. Lily has to lead the way, even if that means facing one of the iciest queens in the mer kingdoms.
Just when Lily thinks her double life on land and sea can't get any more complicated, an ancient mer law might separate Lily and her human boyfriend, Quince, after all. It feels as if the pair is up against a solid tsunami wave!
In this third installment in the series that began with Forgive My Fins and Fins Are Forever, Lily will have to find a way to balance safety and justice for the mer people and for the humans she loves.

    Flipping Fin-tastic!
Lily Sanderson is officially now the crown princess of Thalasinia. With lots of love from her human boyfriend Quince, and help from her estranged cousin Dosinia, Princess Waterlily has support to face her latest challenge: Convincing the mermaid kings and queens to give help to a dying kingdom.
But not everything goes as planned and Lily has to take a step back and look at the problems in a bigger scope, all while freaking out over Quince having to undergo yet another test to prove his worthiness.
Just For Fins was a great third installment in this mermaid series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I whipped through it in three hours. The pacing moves along nicely and the characters have really developed, especially Doe, in ways that keep you rooting for them and wanting to read more. I actually give this book a rating of 4.5 stars rather than just four. Childs has a way of weaving such a unique world into your imagination that you can't help but just dive into the nearest ocean and search for a mer kingdom.
I do however, wish there was more alone time with Lily and Quince, and some more pages! At only just under 300 pages I feel that much more could have been added and given more detail to.
Other than a few minor issues of just wanting more, Just For Fins was a captivating tail that any good guppy would slip their flippers on to.
    mermaids are real
i have loved mermaids since i was a child. when alduts asked what i wanted to be when i grew up, i'd saw a mermaid. and when i found out you could be a mermaid, swimming infornt of people. i was all for it! so i have always loved them, so when i first read forgive my fins, i was in love. i felt like i was lilly. a mermaid fighting for her fate and for her kingdom. and then come fins are forever, and i flet like i was the mermaid fighting for her place in the ocean and in her heart. just for fins was the perfect next step in this beautiful seires! these books make me feel like mermaids are real. that one day they will show themselves.

    Wish there were more.
Lots of excitement. Stefens diaries filled in all the background to the series. Wish there was more.
    LJ does it better
I listened to this on audio, and again it was much better than reading it, but I still don't care for the quality of the story. LJ is much better with these characters.
    Good
This series was a little boring but worth the listen, at least once. I'm a big fan of TVD & loved getting the back story on the Salvatore brothers but the Stefan's diaries series was a little hard to get through at times.
    Enjoyable
If you could sum up The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries, Book 6 in three words, what would they be?
It was insightful into the growing dynamic of the brothers.
What other book might you compare The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries, Book 6 to and why?
I've listened to all of them.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Kevin T. Collins?
    Yes

    Absolutely Awesome!
    Any additional comments?
I absolutely loved this book. I was sort of cautious because I didn't think it could get any better than the last one but it so did!! I definitely don't regret my purchase. My friends often think I'm crazy talking about this book like they were real people, but since they are so good it's so hard not to get attached to the characters. I really didn't want to finish it so soon but I just couldn't stop listening to it. The ending to this book was so unexpected and shocking that I CAN'T wait until the next one!!!
    This Series Keeps Getting Better
I'm not going to say anything on the plot of this story as there's not much to be said that won't spoil the prior books. What I will tell you is that I loved it. The tension was so high and I was fearful for the life of my favorite character (Tod). The story had great romance. Somehow Tod always knows the perfect thing to say and is such a romantic. There were times when my heart melted at the words spoken by Tod.
We also get a lot of Kaylee dealing with inner struggles about her life, death, the way things ended with Nash. She's got a lot of guilt going on and she's trying to make things right but it's not easy for her. I think Vincent does a terrific job of writing Kaylee. She's an honest, caring and smart heroine and somebody that I can relate to. I understand Kaylee's need to take care of her family and friends.
Amanda Ronconi does a great job narrating this series. I highly recommend it because it's fun, exciting, and romantic.
Anxiously awaiting the next book in series!
What made the experience of listening to Before I Wake the most enjoyable?
There is so much character growth and development. No matter what is thrown at Kaylee she is always pushing to help and never thinking of giving up on her friends and family.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Tod - he is just the type of character who grows on you subtly throughout the series and you don't notice it until BAM, one scene and its a life changer.
Which character as performed by Amanda Ronconi was your favorite?
All of them, honestly, Amanda can not go wrong with anything she narrates. I have all of her audiobooks, they are all amazing.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This whole book had me up and down, waiting on the edge of my seat and so many twists that you don't see coming.
    Any additional comments?
This is an amazingly emotional and beautiful series.
The series gets better with every book
The soul screamer series gets better with each book.

    Great ending to this series!
I have been trying to keep up with this series for a while and I am very pleased with the ending. I know it may be twisted but I do not always like happily ever afters because that is not how life works and the author completed the story so brilliantly.
    MY HEART
Stunning conclusion to an amazing series.
But I'll also never forgive Aprilynne for that thing at the end.
Some things should be kept to your damn self.
    New take on Faeries
I really enjoyed this series and Aprillynn's world of magic and Fae. This is a story I will enjoy again.
    Wonderful Conclusion
I loved this series when I first read it and the ending made me cry and I cried even harder listening to this book. Mandy Siegfried brings such emotion to the characters exactly like I imagined the story when I first read it. You won't want the story to end but when it does you'll be happy you read this wonderful series.
    Fantastic Ending
Another great book to this series. This is supposed to be the last one. If you haven't listened to it it's a must... Narrator is fantasic also.

A brilliant read. As always, Zoe Marriott's book are unique and enrapturing. It makes the reader feel as the character feels. You are invested in her struggles with real world problems. It blends cultures and stories seemlessly with just enough of the original, but not too much.

    Critic Reviews:
"The Vampire Journals series has had a great plot, and
Loved especially was the kind of book you will have trouble putting down at night. The ending was a cliffhanger that was so spectacular that you will immediately want to buy the next book, just to see what happens. As you can see, this book was a huge step up in the series and receives a solid A." (The
    Dallas Examiner)
    "
Loved, the second book in the Vampire Journals series, is just as great as the first book,
Turned, and jam packed with action, romance, adventure, and suspense. If you loved the first book, get your hands on this one and fall in love all over again." (Vampirebooksite.com)
    Members Reviews:
Book 2 of The Vampire Journals Did Not Disappoint
Would you consider the audio edition of Loved to be better than the print version?
I rarely have time to read print editions of any book. After listening to Book 1 - Turned, I anxiously awaited the release of the audio version of Loved - Book 2 in Morgan Rice's Vampire Journals Series. I only hope Book 3 is on its way in audio format soon or I may have to find the time to read the print version. Can't wait to find out what is going to happen next.
What about Brianna Knickerbockers performance did you like?
I enjoyed Brianna Knickerbocker's performance. She has an interesting quality to her voice.
    Any additional comments?
The story of Caitlin and Caleb continues in Book 2 with surprising plot twists and turns. There were some real unexpected moments but don't want to ruin the story for anyone by discussing them here. Morgan Rice reveals just enough about his plot and his characters to reel you in and leave you wanting for more. I sense there is so much more to learn about the fate of these characters, especially with vampire war about to commence. Super anxious for Book 3.

    Publisher's Summary:
Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath. Now shes returned - to her old life, her family, her boyfriend - before shes banished back to the underworld... this time forever. She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she cant find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists.
Nikki longs to spend these precious months forgetting the Everneath and trying to reconnect with her boyfriend, Jack, the person most devastated by her disappearance - and the one person she loves more than anything. But theres just one problem: Cole, the smoldering immortal who enticed her to the Everneath in the first place, has followed Nikki home. As Nikkis time on the Surface draws to a close and her relationships begin slipping from her grasp, she is forced to make the hardest decision of her life: find a way to cheat fate and remain on the Surface with Jack or return to the Everneath and become Coles queen.
Everneath is a captivating story of love, loss, and immortality from debut author Brodi Ashton.
    Members Reviews:
    A Hauntingly Beautiful Debut
Would you listen to Everneath again? Why?
Nikki Beckett has been seduced into a world of emotion feeding fiends. Now she has six months to make amends with her friends and family, before she returns to the Everneath. But what Nikki really wants is to see Jack, her love and constant, the one person who that got her through the eternity of living death known as the feed, one last time. Unfortunately her capture Cole, has other plans and will stop at nothing to convince Nikki to be his underworld queen. Yet, something about Cole's actions are suspect, and as Nikki learns more about her bargain, she believes there might be another solution to either becoming a soul sucking immortal or enduring the endless torture of the Everneath.
Brodi Ashton delivers an impressive debut. Everneath is a hauntingly beautiful modern interpretation of a Greek classic. The story moves fluidly from past to present, revealing the plot and characters, in a difficult yet successful way. The world building and characters really emoted this sorrowful current, which set the tone perfectly. The writing style suited the plot, and helps the reader to connect with and fall for Nikki and Jack.
I found the tone and melancholy quality in Amy Rubinate's narration as haunting and lovely as the words Brodi Ashton provided. She sold it for me. It wasn't overly dramatic, just the right mix of regret, longing, and numbness. Rubinate did a wonderful job on the male voices as well, they were strong and didn't sound forced. She reads well, and I found her easy to listen to. I loved her performance in this. Everneath has everything I look for in an audiobook, great production value, clear well read narration, and a wonderful performance by the narrator.
Everneath is a great addition to anyone's library or playlist. It's beautifully written, has a wonderful story, exceptionally flawed characters, and a great recording.
    Love the Book
If you could sum up Everneath in three words, what would they be?
    Interesting, exciting, mind blowing
What did you like best about this story?
I like what the book was about in general.

    Members Reviews:
    Excellent Read!!
Where does Immortal Beloved #2: Darkness Falls rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
Cate Tiernan is an excellent author, but the narrator catches the essence of all the characters at River's Edge, especially Nastasya. The book will suck you in by the end of chapter 1. You will be riveted to find out what happens to Nas, Reynolds, and Inecensio. Be sure to read book one first, or you'll be lost. I can't wait until they add book 3!! I read it, but would listen to it all over again!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Immortal Beloved #2: Darkness Falls?
When Incy comes for Nas at River's Edge, you won't be able to stop listening until you find out what happens.
    Which scene was your favorite?
When Reyn and Nas realize who they really are and their tense relationship from that point.
Good Second Book (wish book 3 was an audiobook...)
    Any additional comments?
Once again, Lintz did a great job of delivering a HILARIOUS Nastasya!!! I was laughing out loud multiple times. The writing and narration is a pairing in heaven!! I've already listened to this audiobook twice.
The only problems I have with the story is Nastasya's naive/blind attitude towards herself throughout the book. All these things are going wrong, and she instantly blamed herself (in my opinion, for no reason) and doesn't see that it's obviously not her.........
I understand that this got the story to where it needed to go, but something craftier and more creative would have been done. To have Nastasya be THAT blind, seems like weak writing to me.
In spite of that little tiff, I loved the book. Once again, the characters are great and dynamic. I love that we get to see more sides of River and Reyn.
Great book and the 3rd one was great too, except it suffered from the same tiff I had before.
This book I more of a revelation for Nastasha
If you could sum up Immortal Beloved #2: Darkness Falls in three words, what would they be?
Revealing, Informative, and at the end very dramatic.
What did you like best about this story?
I really liked the build up of the impending collision course between that Natasha and her once best friend Encio. Encio played the part of a caring friend, but we all knew he was leaching of Nas for her awesome power.
    Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the part when Natasha finally tapped into her family magic and broke the hold Encio had on her. I was hoping for Natasha's power to overwhelm him, but understandably so she wasn't skilled enough. Hopefully in the 3 book she will be better
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me laugh out loud in certain areas. I really liked it when Natasha pushed Rayne from the balcony in the barn.

    The Best Soul Screamer Yet
"If I Die" is definitely a game changer in the Soul Screamer series, but what a ride! Normally I use my audio books on my commute to and from work, but this one had me so on the edge of my seat that I had to bring it inside and listen to the rest of the book, sitting at my computer desk! Rachel Vincent has such a solid handle on Kaylee and on the mythic world, which has never shone so well as in this installment, with its inclusion not just of bean sidhes and reapers but incubi and syphons. I particularly continue to love how the mythic elements exist in an otherwise completely realistic world of high-school, parents, best friends, and teen jobs. Her greatest strength remains the other characters we've come to know and love (or love to hate): Emma, Nash, Tod, Sabine, Alec, even Sophie. But this may be the first time (despite my love for all the books) that I've found myself talking to my radio as I drive: "No!" (there are a minimum of three amazing plot twists that drew that out), and "No no no," when I couldn't believe something was about to happen (at least twice), and even "Kiss her!" The plotting and pacing have gone past wonderful and hit stellar. I'm so relieved to know another installment (well, a novella) will be available in January 2012, and eagerly await it. Thank you, Rachel, for the excellent read!
    Very exciting.
If I die by Rachel Vincent is one of the top books in the series. There are many twists and turns that are fantastic.

Very Good Book, Great Narrator, Poor Cover
I really just wrote this so that hopefully someone from Recorded Books might see it, so I can say, "Heh, what's up with the horrible drab cover?" Way to show you really do believe that you can't judge a book by it's cover. It's like you people are purposefully trying to insure that it will get no one's attention, lol.
    Anxious!
If you could sum up Lost in Time in three words, what would they be?
    Couldn't put down!
What other book might you compare Lost in Time to and why?
I read a lot of syfy; when I read the last book, Van Allen Legacy, I was extremely disappointed. This book completely made up for the last one! I was riveted from minute one!
What does Christina Moore bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Ms. Moore is a good narrator. I find her voices a little lacking, but all in all she adds to the audiobook.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
YES! I listed to this book in a day. I was extremely pleased and look forward to the final installment and the wrap up of these characters I've been listening to for years.
    Any additional comments?
    Definitely worth the read!
    She's done it again!!
What made the experience of listening to Lost in Time the most enjoyable?
Christina Moore did a fabulous job narrating! She really captured the characters. The story is another amazing installment in the series. I can't wait for the next book!!!
