Great book for 2-4yo.

This book is ridiculously cute! The title seems like it wouldn't be about something you would normally pit against each other, but it's exactly how toddlers think. The different challenges the shark and train have to do are so funny; even I was laughing! I got this for my 2yo daughter's class book exchange. She loved it, and the boy who received it also loved it. You can even encourage older toddlers to add their own challenges to the story.

Hilarious and pictures are awesome!

This book is hysterical! I bought it for my 6 year old son, and we were laughing really hard reading it. Basically two little boys grab a toy shark and a toy train and go to war. The shark/train do everything from tight-rope walk to play basketball. It is a really funny book and the pictures in it are AMAZING. It's a good length, is appropriate for all ages, and even being a 33 year old adult I laughed my face off!

Great interactive learning tool

This book is a real hit with my 3-yr old son who loves trains. He likes them so much he carries them around like a security blanket. If the child loves sharks or trains this book will be a good read. I love how this book teaches some common sense skills while the child is having fun looking at the book. I started asking him who would win in each scenario, the shark or the train. Most of the time he would guess the right answer.

Seems like a cute book

Seems like a cute book. But we got the kindle edition and it doesn't show all the words unless you hold the iPad vertically, so you're only seeing one page at a time. And there are only a few words of the story on each page, if any at all. And while trying to flip from page to page to finish a sentence, there are speaking bubbles on a lot of the pages that you have to skip or go back to. Last, those speaking bubbles are real small and hard to read.

But the story seems like it's cute and we love this illustrator.

Every kid can relate!

This book is the best. Have your kids keep a running score and you'll be surprised at who wins when it's Shark vs Train one afternoon!

Twisted History of Pretzels

We make pretzels often during the winter with groups of family and friends, so our granddaughter really identified with Walter's work. She almost has it memorized, I've read it to her so often! While the invention of the pretzel in this book doesn't match the facts on most internet sites, it is a fun way to think of a new food being created through sheer frustration!

If you have a toddler then download this!!!

I have yet to meet a toddler who doesn't like Peppa & her adventures. I saw this and had to download it to see whether my little one would like it. It now gets played before bedtimes and whenever else I need a little distraction for her. It takes the episodes and the narrator fills in any gaps so you don't loose any of the story so if you too are listening in you won't feel like you don't know what is going on! I was worried it was a little short but luckily I just keep replaying and it hasn't gotten boring yet.

This is Peppa Pig and family: always a hit!

The kids enjoy these stories. There are five in total. Just like the TV series.

Kids love it!

As a speechie, it is hard to get some kids interested in saying /r/. I love this book. It is written well and it explains then placement in a fun way. I have sent this book home for the kids to read with their parents, that way they know what we are working on too!

I loved all the stories. Each naration was clear and enjoyable. Music was also splendit.

Beautifully read but beware of original endings if allowing young children to listen. No Disney romance here

Disappointing...

Keep on getting a 'Playback failed. Please try again" error message. So could not listen to these stories which is a real shame. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Audible, but problem persisted. Sent a report through, do let's see...

I love these stories and thought I could download them to a cd to play in the car when I have my grandchildren. But I can't, also seem unable to return them. The whole process has been frustrating, annoying and I will not be using audible books again.
